  • This presentation is made for the sole purposes of edu-tainment ONLY! Do NOT try & come for me about my GIFs or the way that I personally paraphrased the Code of Ethics.  It is my hope that this presentation serves the purposes for which I intend… to provide you with a more simplified & entertaining way that helps you comprehend & retain the most vital information in the NASW Code of Ethics. Please be advised Everything that “Savvy Says” has been paraphrased as my own rendition/understanding. Understand that if you want to get the FULL unedited version of the original code of ethics, it can be found on the NASW website… as all information is NOT included in this presentation. I do HIGHLY suggest that you read the original version as well.
    Please enjoy… #TheSavvyWay!

I absolutely agree. However, this is only in the context of our clinical interventions with clients. Not from a personal life perspective. The code of ethics was amended to stress that social workers priortize self- care.

If people are coming for you based on the techniques you use to teach these subjects, they need to get out of Social Work!!!
