hello and thank you very much for sharing I just have one question I got my tool stuck inside can you show me a technique to get it out please that would help me a lot thank you very much
Could be good for legitimate reasons like you've lost your keys. Saves smashing the windows but in the wrong hands, its BAD.!! but really, Its Ford's fault for having such a naff key in the first place. When I had a Ford escort van, i hated the key and often had to get new keys cut as they have a habit of wearing out
Haywards Dave.Yep had the same issues with my 1989 Escort an all.Pain in the butt. And it wasn't cheap either having to get a new key cut.Had my 59 plate transit stolen must have been stolen the same way as this video shows as there was no broken glass. These vans have many other issues like leaking fuel tanks and rust on sills.Won't be buying anymore fords next van will be vw/merc or vauxall better build quality.
Please I need help. I tried the procedure and unfortunately a pin broke while I was turning it and now the tool no longer comes out. Please can you give me help?
now I know how my ford transit connect van was opned andt all the tools taken with out mark being left on thet doors feel stupid to have trusted the van security which is why I didn't up grade thet locks :-(
I think I wasted $35 ordering this damn thing from 'China. (1) are you sure it will work on a '96 Jaguar XJ6? (2) when inserted on my glove box lock, disc #6 (the outermost one) just spins freely! (3) what if the lock is UNlocked and you don't have a key (I lost mine), should you still be able to figure out what the key code is by using this device?
Hello could you tell me why mine is stuck in the ignition barrel, I’ve been trying to get it out for hours. I didn’t realize you could open locks with it, I thought it was just to get the code for a new key, glad I would never own a ford.
There is a small springlock... before take the tool out, this spring lock needs to be pushed down. Its small metal pices in ignition, door lock and hood lock try to find on google how ignition looks like without the key.
Nigel Frampton. It's educating all ford van owners and jag owners that their vehicle is at risk which is good.If you had a ford or jag stolen and there was no glass on the floor you would like to know how they broke in.If I knew this before I wouldn't have been a victim.Ford and Jaguar are to blame aswell they should warn owners of the poor security of their locks.
No, 8 cut Tibbe uses 3 different "depths" (they're actually different angles) of cuts, whereas 6 cut Tibbe uses 4 differing "depths", or angles of cut. The pick is easy to use but cutting the keys requires more skill IMO. We are the only shop in our service area that is willing and knows how to cut them right. Many mechanics and hardware stores simply refer those with Tibbe keys looking for spares to the dealership when we can cut them for much less. Local dealerships call us to originate keys when AKL using the procedure shown in this video. They have key codes but don't have the equipment necessary to cut them right.
Hi mate, I'll send my £4.7k bill from having my van emptied this weekend?? Or we can meet and I'll show where to.shove that key of yours for a 'Place One Small Interface!!!!'

Not a 8 disk lock thats a 6 disc and a 8 disk lock there are 8 cuts with 3 heights instead of 6 cuts with 4 heights

Glove box lock might be too loose for this to work... trunck or door should be fine.

If I have the 8 cut FO21 I could just use this on the 6 cut barrels too ?
No, you need the 8 cut Tibbe pick
Great video. If I have an 8 cut FO21 will not need 6 cut version right 🎸🎶
