STORM MASTER Storm Revolution & 4 are well-oiled machines gameplay-wise. Storm 2 and 3 are the ones I play for the offline story. And Storm 1 & Generations also have such unique and well-presented atmosphere.
Nah thats bullshit. Every storm game has its own strengths and weaknesses. Storm 1 for the free roam gameplay and wall climbing,storm 2 for the story mode,storm 3 for the overall features and storm 4 for the gameplay mechanics

They probably didn't have time for some of these, because they've put they're resources somewhere else. For example the giant awakenings and massive attacks covering huge area of the map (I'm talking about Storm 4). It all unfortunately takes a lot of time.

@Sidney Herndon Uchiha were destroyed, Senju split between the village, the Nara aren't as much capable on fighting as the Hyuuga, we don't know the extent of the Sarutobi Clan's abilities. Yes, the Hyuuga were the strongest, because a competent one can stop Akimichi's tenketsu, and the insects wouldn't work as the Byakugan have a 360° visibility, with 50m being the base.

I love first storm ⛈ because all mechanics and details from first show ninja clashes was best and had better Justus and side quests was fun but storm 2-3-4- revolution was to Focus on online and remove all fun factors from game. Itachi move set from storm ⛈ one ☝️ is fire 🔥 and so different but storm 2 didn’t feel like good sequel because everything that great was gone from storm ⛈ 1 and characters was naruto shippiduen only, but cc2 made the first game the best because u feel like ninja and u different moves and other storms just was too focus online instead of anime core mechanics

The Scepter storm 4 was definitely better gameplay-wise. story was A LOT better too, but they took soooo much of that AMAZING detail that made the storm series feel like the anime out of the games! like longer ultimates, clashing jutsus, wall fighting, intro dialogue, facial expressions, and so much MORE.

I think the reason why they had unique ability damage and effects like 3rds ultimate draining health and opponent can't use chakra, is cuz there wasn't online pvp back then. Then from there on they had to baseline everything in the future games to balance in pvp. Sucks but that's how it goes, PvP ruins pve every time

I'm all for pvp as long as it doesn't effect pve. But devs are too lazy to balance them separately so pve always suffers this applies to all games
You can tweak those instead of removing those abilities in general for online play. This is still a pvp game if you have friends irl to play with. Not really a pve. Regardless if offline only or online, it should focus on balance. I don't think it was broken of an ability tho.

By far the best naruto storm game ever. Here’s why, CC2 not just followed all of the features from the anime, Jutsu clashes, wall running etc. They remembered the most smallest details just how it is shown in this video. They included awakening mode and ultimate jutsus with amazing cutscenes. Now imagine if CC2 kept all these consistent to storm 4 OMG imagine, Jutsu clashes with amazing effects. It really is a shame that cc2 completely taken all of these things out from storm 1.
Characters change their facial expression in later Storm games as well. Danzo for example have his left eye shut and mouth close, showing a calm and collected expression. But being in low health his left eye is open and his mouth open as well showing fatigue.

Shinobo strikers is slowly going into the gutter and Jump Force is just unfinished, yet they’re making new characters. And they just completely abandoned Storm 4.

the ultimate ninja games(the ones before the storm series), you had stuff like jutsu clashes, permanent awakenings and more. for example using a Sharingan user's ultimate that activated the Sharingan was dangerous against certain characters, as the Sharingan user would copy the opponents moveset. an example is fighting either Gara or Shikamaru. Fighting either of them with any of the Sharingan characters is a pain. if you copy Gara, you are stuck with his abyssal speed and no attacks as his whole move set uses his sand. and if you copy Shikamaru, you are stuck with his weak normal attacks as all his powerful ones use his shadow possession jutsu, which the sharingan can't copy.
+Tylericous, how is the gameplay generally worse? It offered a lot more to the table in terms of gameplay wise. The newer storm games sacrificed so much of its animations and gameplay mechanics in favour of a bigger character roaster because of memory limitations. They overaggerated how many characters that should be put in to the point where the game was no longer the Naruto Ultiminate NInja Storm that people remember it as. I remember constantly jutsu clashing and begin able to charge up the jutsu, as well as the smaller details like awakenings begin able to perform ultimate jutsus and the ability to fight on walls.
They really should've had these details and other like them in the other storm games. Like, the sharingan auto substitute actually makes it feel like you're using the sharingan, whereas in later storm games, many awakenings are fundamentally really similar
Same with other Naruto games actually. Some features are removed when their Shippuden series came out. Ninja Heroes inflict stats or awakens character when using Ult (Hyuga Ult activates Byakugan, Ini Ult inflict poison as to her Storm counterpart, 3rd's Ult inflict Seal while draining his HP, etc.) In Ninja Heroes 3, using Ult only damages enemy while Awakening is a separate feature.
4:47 If you awaken with Neji, & use his ultimate! It depletes more chakra. And Rotation shows his Byakugan activated! Try Changing his secret technique in awakening mode too to see Byakugan activated! ( Pretty Cool!!! )

Tbh when I see the newer games the graphics are cool but I would farther play this either HD or normal because despite its limited roaster it had mini games like the tree sections like in the anime the attention to detail was really there and it shows how much they really cared

Shinobo strikers is slowly going into the gutter and Jump Force is just unfinished, yet they’re making new characters. And they just completely abandoned Storm 4.

Got into these very late but I love these games, i played 1 and 4 on the switch
the ultimate ninja games(the ones before the storm series), you had stuff like jutsu clashes, permanent awakenings and more. for example using a Sharingan user's ultimate that activated the Sharingan was dangerous against certain characters, as the Sharingan user would copy the opponents moveset. an example is fighting either Gara or Shikamaru. Fighting either of them with any of the Sharingan characters is a pain. if you copy Gara, you are stuck with his abyssal speed and no attacks as his whole move set uses his sand. and if you copy Shikamaru, you are stuck with his weak normal attacks as all his powerful ones use his shadow possession jutsu, which the sharingan can't copy.

The newer storm games sacrificed so much of its animations and gameplay mechanics in favour of a bigger character roaster because of memory limitations. They overaggerated how many characters that should be put in to the point where the game was no longer the Naruto Ultiminate NInja Storm that people remember it as. I remember constantly jutsu clashing and begin able to charge up the jutsu, as well as the smaller details like awakenings begin able to perform ultimate jutsus and the ability to fight on walls.
storm 1 sucks compared to the new stuff. Bigger roster, smoother gameplay, waaayyy better boss fights. And NO shit mini games

They really should've had these details and other like them in the other storm games. Like, the sharingan auto substitute actually makes it feel like you're using the sharingan, whereas in later storm games, many awakenings are fundamentally really similar

Ninja Heroes inflict stats or awakens character when using Ult (Hyuga Ult activates Byakugan, Ini Ult inflict poison as to her Storm counterpart, 3rd's Ult inflict Seal while draining his HP, etc.)
In Ninja Heroes 3, using Ult only damages enemy while Awakening is a separate feature.
