I loved living in Japan, it was everything i expected it to be and I will go back for small vacations often! Going to school there was SO fun and I made some great friends and went on some educational and beautiful trips. I NEVER expected Japan to be a "kawaii magic weaboo land", that is assumptions my anti's made. Everyone that said I would get a "wake up call" and that japan "wouldn't live up to my unrealistic expectations" was wrong. It was all that i hoped it would be. Truly felt like home! What i did not enjoy was the entertainment visa. And that has nothing to do with Japan as a country, rather being treated badly and taken advantage of from an agency. I planned to stay a year, i did that, i loved it, I am so happy I got to experience it. Don't make assumptions and spread false infooooooo xxxxxxx

You say you loved Japan&made friends, however your (almost) daily posts on Instagram stories suggested otherwise. You often spoke of being lonely. From fall into winter, you posted about being anxious&depressed. Not just memes, but you actually wrote that that's how you felt. Many fans were actually worried about your mental health due to how frequently you posted this. You said you wouldn't miss the "over strict" culture of Japan (you're entitled to your opinion. I lived in Japan and I personally disagree with this statement that the culture is too strict) which implies a negative experience. Did you truly have an amazing experience? Or do you feel the need to say this because of your antis?

I had a negative interaction with you after making the most innocent comment on your Instagram and you simply disagreed with my opinion and I finally saw the side of you I had been defending against all your "haters." I did not make this comment to be mean, so I'm sorry if that is the way it is being falsely portrayed. Wasnt the intention. I wanted Kenna to genuinely understand that her attitude and seemingly the pedestal she places herself on in comparison to how she views her supporters isn't a healthy fan/influencer relationship and due to what was said I no longer felt comfortable supporting her. I think young people give people too many chances. She never was an "awful" person and she never will be. Her "poor behavior" was simply small mistakes she's made here and there just as you probably make mistakes in life as well. I think you should find a hobby other than letting drama channels think for you and then waste your time stalking kenna and leaving hateful comments.

Thanks for keeping in when words get stuck for you. This happens all the time for me (from chronic illnesses), and it makes me feel not as isolated but rather more understood when others share that they also struggle.
@@lunaplaysgames7674 I know you didn't ask me but in my opinion you should at least know enough to get around and ask people the location of basic things (transportation, bathroom, ect.) Immersion is definitely a great way to speed up learning a language but I don't think I'd want to go in with zero knowledge just for safety reasons.

Everyone knows she stole the art, she's been reprimanded and it's over. It's not emotionally healthy for both parties to hold on to these grudges.

99% of my Korean friends who spent a year in America can still barely speak English.
Literally no one, out of 5 of my friends who went to Japan, can speak fluent Japanese even 2-3 years in.
Most people don't acquire a whole language in a year or even 2 or 3. I've been living in Korea for 4 years and still am not fluent despite having a Korean husband and studying intensively. Her not obtaining fluency and returning to the US is not failure. It's life. yall gotta get off your dick ridden high horses, for fuck's sake. For anime recs: [The] Tatami Galaxy. It's based on a novel (if you'd be interested in that, too); it's a kooky slice of life/somewhat of a romance/somewhat of a magical realism.
The same author who wrote the original novel, wrote another called The Night is Short Walk on Girl, that was also turned into an anime (a movie, though, not series). It's pretty similar but I absolutely recommend it as well.

I don't know how well it'd play out, but I think a neat idea would be to set up a website or maybe a youtube video compilation of music that you read alongside the poetry book with time stamps of what music fits with which pieces. I feel like it could give a more personal feel to the book, and you can always change and improve things if it doesn't work during the process. It is time consuming though, unless you already feel like you know what would accompany your book well (without being copyright claimed). Good luck, and wish you all the best with your book this year! Hopefully it will come out in time for autumn to rise again.

I love how people attack her for trying to figure out who she was when she was younger. As if they didn't have their own identity crisis at some point. I used to be super goth in high school, listened to ICP and heavy metal and was generally an angry teenager. Now I wear pink all the time, listen to indie or stuff like Robin Guthrie and I'm way nicer! All people go through weird phases while growing into an adult. Get over yourself and go cyberbully someone who actually deserves it.
I don't know, as a kid I never adopted another group's culture and religion as an "aesthetic" in order to "find myself", probably because my Mum taught me better than to treat actual people and their beliefs as pretty trinkets.
You don't have to illustrate every poem. Just some illustrations will make it interesting but I create an illustration in my mind when I read poetry anyway.

the only thing i can complain about in frozen 2 was the ending , it just felt SO easily resolved and there were no real stakes or problems they couldn’t just easily get over. when it ended i felt like something was missing.

You've been there for a year and can only order food...? Not trying to be mean, but I thought actually being in the country would be a huge help to learning the language. Never expected you do be fluent or anything, but that seem like way less language progression than I thought. Especially since you went to language school on top of it.
I studied japanese way back in the day for 1 year in a university in my home country, and learned a ton! Granted, I never got fluent(that takes way longer usually) and I've forgotten a lot of it since I haven't touched japanese since, but I learned way beyond "ordering food" in that year. I'm a bit puzzled. I guess staying abroad is not a guaranteed help.
She only went for 6 months to language school, maybe if she had choose the student visa and stay another 6 months maaybe she could have learn more.

Staying in japan should've given her lots of opportunities to listen to, speak and practice the language. 6 months at a language school should be more than enough to give her the basics to pursue the language on her own(if she *wanted* to), especially since she was in japan for 6 more months. It just seems a bit fishy.
Either she found the language/school too difficult, or she found it boring(which I know it can be) and quit.
Or she might've just isolated herself. Nothing can really be learned if you don't try, and if she kind of kept to her apartment/neighbourhood the whole time, then she wouldn't get immersed in the language anf culture that much.

Unfortunately, it doesn't slip smoothly to some. Not to mention Japanese is not an easy language to learn.
I also loved Frozen 2!!! The only complaint I had was the sort of plot hole with Kristoff and Anna. He sang Lost in the Woods about how he felt like they were growing apart and then we don’t see him again until he proposes. I wish they had expanded on that a little, but otherwise I ADORED Frozen 2. INCREDIBLE MOVIE

Could you make a video on your experience opening a bank account and finding an apartment in Japan? I'm going for a semester abroad and wasn't sure whether to choose a dorm or if an apartment would be worth it in that short time frame!
Maybe try a guesthouse too :). When I was abroad in Japan I stayed at a local guesthouse. It was very clean, comfortable, and affordable. Plus tons of chances to practice Japanese. Free bedding&kitchen access. Pretty dope and was about $240 a month.

I was literally complaining before you mentioned that on a fake news post that was saying Elsa would get a girlfriend in Frozen 3 and I explained all the reasons why I felt Elsa should be Aromantic/asexual and I think she would be a wonderful example for those in the Aro/ace community. Personally I am not, I am demisexual and very romantic. Even then I get annoyed how everyone assumes people need romantic partnership to be happy! I personally think Elsa getting a boyfriend or girlfriend would ruin the integrity of the character.

I 1000% agree with your opinions on Frozen 2. I thought Frozen was just OK and was very confused by the hype around it and especially, how long that hype lasted. When I saw Frozen 2, I was blown away. I loved the way it looked, I liked the songs more, I love their hair and their clothes and the creatures... Everything about it!
