I've seen so many complaints with this cvs remote customer service position. The main complaint I've seen is the training being rushed. I would most definitely apply to this position if the training was up to standards. I think this is why they are constantly hiring because they cant keep employees. Nobody wants to work for a company that doesn't care if their employees are struggling to do their job because their training is shoved in a few weeks and are expected to perform well. It dont make sense

Same with AAA… passed all of my tests and after moving out on my own taking emergent calls from ppl that their cars broke down… No one showed me how to find the GPS coordinates if the poor person only knew limited info. A few weeks being on my own one of the CSR’s showed me. Would’ve saved a lot of time had the trainers taught that. They cut our training from 8weeks down to six weeks bc it was right before the holidays and they just needed ppl asap. I was there for a few months. I decided it wasn’t for me.

I got an email from cvs saying training is 7 weeks long, so maybe they changed it in the 9 months since you wrote this. I’m not sure if I should take the job, they finally got back to me for an on the phone interview after months of my application being sent to them

the training is horrible, training really is all over the place. I gave the equipment back within the 5th week I can't believe this company just put us on the phones with lack of experience to help the patients with concerns that make a difference in their daily lives. i just feel like its better opportunities out there.CVS doesn't value you as an asset to make the company succeed, I feel they should give you all the necessary streamlined training it is for such an important role. the way the training is rushed and you are throwed on the phone do they really care about the employee and most important the customer who is depending on the employee to get the job right. cvs specialty role needs a complete makeover!

I totally relate to how you felt about the training not being enough. I worked for a company that said training was 4 weeks, but it was really two weeks of hands on training, while the last two weeks involved you being on the sales floor taking real time calls. The initial two weeks were good and i liked my trainers, but once those two weeks were over, it was apparent that two weeks isn’t enough time to train and learn all the information for the job. In short, I no longer work for the company because it ultimately wasn’t for me. Thank you for sharing your experience!

I mean train on what’s needed for the LIVE calls and have sessions of training, not us getting calls escalated for something they don’t train on, then you figure how much time was wasted, but 21 weeks out of my busy adult life is too much for that lil position. The constant testing and training slides, it’s not what I expected from a company such as CVS.

@@tpat1121 Hello, don't be nervous. They will ask you general questions like: past job experience, what would you do in certain situations, how would you handle irate customers, make sure to mention one call resolution. The questions are just call center interview questions. Your on camera while interviewing, just smile and be yourself don't over think it. You got this!!
