well there was this American movie where there were these guys with an f 14 like jet with two seats, they get engaged by a surface-to-air missile and go on for five fucking minutes doing left and right with the missile following them at 5 meters from the jet 😂

The thing about the this chinese movie is how quick they cut from scene to scene making the action less engaging and more overwhelming. Its okay they used CGI but it needs more polish.

The F-35 is not a Soviet project? It’s a US Air Force Fighter. Also it has capabilities unknown to the public, but they from what we know it is already a deadly fighter. Think about how many countries have bought F-35? Now I can’t name one country that has bought Chinese jets (other than Pakistan)

We all know that in reality if the J20 came across an F35 it would be done for
Actually, the opposite. In November 2022 the encounter happened and reports by the US defense ministry show the F-35 didn’t even see the J-20s before their lock warning went off. It wasn’t exactly an interception but the two aircrafts got pretty close and general Willsbach said quote: “we don’t know what they are going to use the J-20 for but we noticed that they flew pretty well, we saw relatively professional flying there…” mainly because the J-20 isn’t designed as an air superiority fighter and we can’t compare one to another. In this case, clever use of data link, AWAC and anti-stealth units stationed on the east coast allowed the J-20s to approach the Lightnings with their nav and weapon control radars off but still having situational awareness. Quite smart
@sweatybotfn9982 that's all bullshit, the J20s never actually locked onto anything along with the F35s not locking. And actual us pilots that were on the mission said that it was a random encounter, they did detect them from 200 miles away and decided to continue their route because they knew that they were being detected. Once the J20s were in sight from the eye, US pilots actually complimented and admired their formation. Don't know what sort of propaganda you are pulling ur source from but the actual F35 pilots said that there was no issue at all when they came into rage at 280 miles which is that maximum radar range of the F35s radar. And how the J20s detected the F35s was because the F35s had their radar reflectors mounted, which reflects radar waves, not its real RCS though. J20 is not a stealthy jet, if you actually had an idea on proper stealth engineering which you have shown that you lack any idea in, you'd know that it really lacks stealth features, it has the fucking rcs of a god damn airliner
Indeed, J20 doesn't have an airborne cannon and only carries 2 short-range air to air missiles, it's designed to be an interceptor. PLA 's fighter aircraft is J11bs.
@@sweatybotfn9982The J20's radar cs is actually considerably larger than F35s and the F22's. Keep in mind, China stole these technologies from the USA. It was the E-3 Sentry AEW&C aircraft that insufficient for timely detection of the J-20s, not the F35s themselves.

And the same goes both ways, we have E-3s China has KJ-500, which they also connect with ground based advanced anti-stealth radar deployed along the coast which apparently gave F-22s flying over Japan radar warning. All to say, we don’t know enough to compare anything (unless it’s Russian 😂) and I hope we never have to find out

You can even compare the first and second trailer, the difference in CGI effects are like day and night . It took them more than 3 months to release the second and final trailer .

too much CGI involved. Doesn't look realistic anymore. Not even close to real dog-fights. The Chinese film-makers have room for improvement. But looks good on entertainment only. Seriously doubt Chinese fighter pilots can match American Top-gun pilots with long history of battle proven records. Not saying they can't win however the eventual result might show the American fighter pilots have an edge over the Communist Chinese pilots.
The new top gun was mostly CGI. They use real planes for the actors, but the movie has a ton of CG. You're right about the dogfight being unrealistic though.
@@randwilliams5552 No, the CGI is more balanced in Top Gun Maverick and compared to this movie. They actually perform flying manuever in the movie with Navy pilots and former Blue angels pilot. And some shots in top gun maverick ain't even fully CG shot

This is one of the most immature attempts at cinema I have ever seen. You could expect as much from a nation that is just as likely to produce choreographed fights using actors suspended on strings, or CGI. It is one thing to make an unbelievable superhero movie detached from reality, but when you claim your undeveloped armed forces are capable of similar feats, that is something else.
The Chinese military budget is 203 billion USD, still small compared to the US, but by no means is it "undeveloped". I'd like to see you make a better attempt at cinema than this.
This movie may suck but we shouldn't underestimate China's military. I mean we probably would still win but it would be WW2 style bloodshed.

I for one am of the belief that what they are claiming as equitable with comparative Western units aren’t anywhere near close, however they do have advantages in numbers and production capacity. At the end of the day what I believe imho is more relating to other countries and less rhetoric at a government level. If you get most of the regular people in the same room and they can communicate effectively most sane people don’t want confrontation.
