sadly they do sometimes they miss to mention things like correcting parking or go back into the dot building and are still marking. I got failed my last test by one mark for my reverse parking i went in a bit close so i corrected it buy got a mark taken down. and when parking back in the licensing centre the forward parked perfectly and as i was breaking the assessor slammed on the breaks (there was no reason to) and said "get me out of here" and kept marking for the next 15 mins. I want to know if this was wrong and i should have gotten my license.
@@zacktobeck4115same I got marked down for reversing back to slow in a parking lot 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️, I wasn’t driving slow I was driving at I speed I could control incase a car came and I could put the brake on without stalling the car and they marked me down for that!! 😩😑🙄😒, they are taking it way to seriously sometimes!
Thanks for the video. I learn a lot from you videos. Once I was scared and nervous when I had my PDA somewhere. The examiner no smile . But the last one is so kind and patient. Then I passed my PDA last year.
Completely agree. Just because something is legal, doesn't mean it's moral. This also applies in reverse. We all have a duty to look out for one another on the roads, including identifying risks and making changes.
Unfortunately, the PDA assessor presented lack of driving experience, or/and lack of anticipation and prediction skills. The student did a proper thing not parking the car on the intersection even it was legal (but it wasn't safe) Parking must be: Legal! and Safe! (both conditions must be met) Good video 👍
Did you pass? If not and if that point contributed to failure you should write to them to reinstate your entitlement for free. Unfortunatelly some examiners act like they own the place!
@@DrivingSchoolWA No, assessor brought me back because I could not find a spot to park. After intersection, there was roundabout so I could not park. Later, he said you can park opposite the intersection. But, he also asked me to switch on the demister which was an intervention. Visibility was still fine for me but then you can not argue on that point
@@anniegarg803 Hi Annie, I realized later who you are. Yeah, Anil says that it happened to you too. Clearly they had wrong and unfair practice at Success DoT. RE Demister, they can all be pretty strict when it comes to good visibility
Yeah! I ended up driving up on the verge and barely got out of the truck's path. I must admit I was surprised because I didn't expect it as you say. Despite my experience and knowledge I initially blamed the truck driver, but shortly after I realesded, Gee, this is it, this is what we teach.
@@DrivingSchoolWA I hope won’t happen to me .. but I already accept I’ll take more test in the future if ever I take practical exam soon .. seems everyone take 5x more lol
Steve may have more information on this, but quite a few people I know have had very bad experiences with Midland and Mirrabooka test centres so I would avoid those.
am i allowed to reverse while doing a hook turn if my car is too big? i have a 4*4 and the turning radius for it never fits even if i try to go as wide as possible
Sometimes assessors abuse the privilege and cross the line.
I know someone she failed 20x 😂 hope I won’t failed 21x lol ..
@@teambainofficial9341 20? Must be at Success test centre, they even brag how many they fail

👍 Thanks mate!
Same thing happened to me at the Success. I didn't park opposite the intersection and assessor said it is legal to park on the opposite side

So true! Were you okay when you had a truck overtaking a parked car? I see how dangerous it can be and nobody even expects it

hey mate where is the best place to go for license???

Go Kelmscott if you can. I passed first time and so did all my mates
If you get a reasonable assessor any place is okay. People find Cannington and Kelmscott easier than other centres.
@@Shroomoo yeah, a lot of people complain about how they are treated, especially Midland in the last few months
@@cooncheese2209 Yeah, it's never too congested and assessors are reasonable
Yes, i believe the assesor should get fired.
He resigned about 2 years after this
