There is no rock like Karjurock - with the power duo! They are more relaxed and up to the point now than in the first gigs together in 2023. Great band also.

Jansen strains too much, all in the name of belting. And yes, she's a poorly developed full-lyric soprano. Why? Because she sounds more like a light lyric soprano than the full lyric soprano that she likely is. And that's NOT supposed to happen. Tuomas give an small ego to her, she don't used her true voice to sing. C'mon, roland.....Floor is incredibly talented, but Tarja can never be replaced in that band. If you forgot about her you're likely the only one. If Tuomas were smart he'd bring both Marko and Tarja back.....even if it were only for one more album/tour. That's what the true NW fans really want to see.....Nightwish the band, not a Floor Jansen solo act, which is what they've become. Troy's vocals are weak and Jukka doesn't sing live. Marko and Tarja were the engines that brought Tuomas's music to life.

She also headlined festivals in Serbia, Germany and Romania and performed for 250-k crowd at Samara UPSSSSS
Because fans want to hear these songs sung by people who actually know how to sing them. Tarja also has a hugely successful solo career with her own music. Oops.
They sound good together almost like in 2005. The band in this not so good. Marco would be so good in Nightwish still, but Tarja is not as good anymore as Floor is now.

Floor is a sligtly-above-common singer who scored a lucky break with Nightwish. The people who ignore her inefficiencies are either being deceptive or ignorant on purpose. Wide embouchures, belting, high laryngeal position, and subglottal pressure create tension. Tension creates strain. Strain causes damage. Bel Canto perspective Floor does have poor technique, even when she sings classical pieces, pay attention how she easily is outta breath. If Floor went to a classically trained voice teacher, these are the kinds of things he or she would advise her of. Floor is a poorly developed full-lyric soprano. She has none of the steel one would associate with a dramatic soprano voice, her voice is too thin, no strenght at all (and screaming and straining the voice in the name of belting is not signing and it's not powerful), and her voice is nowhere near as large in scope to sound as one. Just listen to Patti Labelle and Floor side-by-side and you'd see how Patti wipes the floor out of her. And yes, she's a poorly developed full-lyric soprano. Why? Because she sounds more like a light lyric soprano than the full lyric soprano that she likely is. And that's NOT supposed to happen. When are people like you going to get it through your head that "better" and "best" don't exist in music. Nor does "average". This isn't science. You may not like them as much, but you've got nothing to show one is average, better or best.
