Very cool stuff, when I build Clive I like him to channel every element you can at once and only have one ultimate. I channel the same three eikons you do and have Proselytize, judgement bolt, impulse, rift slip, upheaval, deluge. I have a set of other builds depending on mood but this is my main staple.

Side note i really love ultimanic but its annoying that only a few abilities are actually useable if you want to go for a high score and that you really have to drag out the fights on some missions not using your basic attacks. I was curious what you thought about the scoring system and what changes you would like to see to it?
Sorry for the late reply. Honestly, at this point I have no idea. I've gotten S ranks with a lot of weird loadouts, and save a few of them that are actually kind of horrible (flare breath, for example) I just can't say what needs fixing in particular. Maybe up the score some abilities give, and rework others. I think flare breath, ignition, and Impulse to name a few need to get reworked to be good enough to use in arcade mode. I think most people have trouble with scoring because they're not using LB combos. I've always said it, those shift LB combos are the main reason why I get S ranks at all, and a lot of videos I see out there usually sit on a full LB gauge for entire legs.
@@eyrestahl no worries. Yeah I need to learn to use lb more often. I do think some abilities are overturned like satellite, thunderstorm and will o wisp and a few abilities are unusable like as you said flare breath and also cross swell does too much damage and same with all the Ultima abilities. But yeah I think you are right that you can use everything else you just have to have the right situations for them. Thanks for replying I was just curious about what you thought
So I’m new to this game just got bahamut with the satellite skill. But mine only shoot little bolts yours sometimes have blue explosions happening. What am I missing
@@24nero24 Satellite has three different fire modes that you can control. The little bolts you mentioned are the regular shots that fire whenever you press triangle (or whatever the magic button is if you happened to change it.) The other fire mode is a charged shot, which the satellites fire whenever you use a charged magic shot, or a precision dodge shot. And then the last mode would be the one you see in my video, which is the magic bursts. Each satellite follows up each of your magic bursts with one of their own, which adds a lot of damage and will/stagger damage to your combos. Worth noting that satellite magic bursts can only be done when you're doing magic bursts yourself. The regular shots and the charged shots can be used at any time, even when you're in the middle of another animation or when using other abilities.
I used to spam gigaflare, judgement bolt and zantetsuken, but by the time I got to caer movement in my FF mode playthrough I was getting bored out of my mind. Decided to get good without ultimates or Odin, and I've never gone back to that playstyle (except for the couple speedruns I've done.) Game's more fun that way.
Yeh, jumping helps me get the timing right, especially when it's a lunging attack like that one. Also, parrying reduces ability cooldown (you can see the ability buttons flashing when time is slowed,) so it let me get that extra thunderstorm to finish it off for extra score.
@@lostvayne9146 it does, and it's higher than partial stagger or hitting a vulnerable part (the head in most cases.) If I'm right, it's about a 25-30% increase but I'm not super sure. It can lead to messing up S ranks if you dump too much damage during the parry animation, especially against bosses which are usually already hard enough to get higher than an A without stalling for a while.

@@eyrestahl i think parrying also gives you damage bonus. The numbers turn gold which looks the same as when you stagger them
