The route 3 is one of my favourite route, this is exciting they've got those bus stop TV screens on one of the route 436's (previously the route 12 before they got the new routemasters) Gemini 2 Hybrids, (WHV1) I think is the code. As a South Londoner myself I can tell you this route looks amazing.
I will be getting it that is for sure, I just hope that all the relavent splines and other stuff needed, and it is not hard to install with anything to complicated.
I used to live in Norwood April 6 2006 - August 1st 2010. I now live in Camberwell, so it is nice to see a local route like the 468 that goes Norwood and Camberwell.

+BritishRail60062 I loved those, I preferred the Trident Dennis to what we have now.. They were good buses and you are right they were very fast. I do still see them, they pop up on the 157 and predominately on the 381 routes. I do miss them.
+Nico Aaron Ugbaja To be honest the Dennis Trident Alexander ALX400 buses were nicer looking over the Enviro 400 and it seemed to be better made and doesn't look cheap unlike the newer buses. Its great to hear they are still working the Routes 157 and the 381. I have ridden LG52XYL on the Route 381 and the driver kindly floored it for me when I was doing the video on that one :).
+LondonTransport Enthusiast Both the Plaxton President and the Alexander ALX400 are just the bodywork mate. The chassis that makes the noise is the Dennis Trident, Volvo B7TL and the DAF/VDL DB250. Mostly the noise and the whine comes from the gearbox which is either the Voith DIWA or the ZF Ecomat. I like both of them although I prefer ZF of the two because ZF gearboxes on the Dennis Trident chassis is nicer sounding and is slightly faster than the Voith DIWA gearbox :).
I've been following this project for many months now, and I'm looking forward to playing it! Being a Londoner myself it'll make OMSI feel much more authentic 😃 mostly looking forward to the full project thought for the two new buses, especially the new routemaster, and for the areas of central London which will be developed. But I know it's taken Rhys a year already just to get to this stage, but hopefully he keeps going with the project!
Also have to say, this being one of my routes home + plus countless bus 3 journeys.. this is pretty much bang on! The detail is very good! Almost perfect! A really good job!
+Nico Aaron Ugbaja The fact there are extra short workings in the OMSI world between Brixton and Crystal Palace makes me think it should be brought into the real life world as the peaks it's full of school children packed to the front of the bus, it's like a liquid overfilled in a liquid. As you said you live by the 3, I think you know the impact ;)
+SMA19 Haha, Indeed it could do with that, when I was at school Arriva used to put 417's out every 4 minutes at the end of school to get everyone out the area quickly! so maybe Abellio could do that.
It'd be so nice to see the DLA's from Arriva that used to be on the 415 and 432. I always love a good DAF DB250LF thrash, and it'd be so good to drive one.
I used to be a bus driver and have done this number 3 bus route with the RM bus with a conductor on the back, it used to go from Crystal palace to parliament hill field's back in 1983, it came out of Norwood bus garage and for a short time out of Stockwell bus garage were I used to work, Have also done the number 2-2B-77A-168-37-88-44-196-133-333-345-155-168-337-all from Stockwell bus garage, back then they were all long bus routes not like now.q
When I use the E400 on this map the dest does not change not only for me but for AI buses as it stays on Not In Service and the IBIS system does not turn on due to this the announcements do not work also. ideas?
oh and bye the way thanks for telling us that it's the station brake to open/close the back door. I've always wanted to because i have a g27 and it's impossible to reach my mouse to do it manually lol!

I like the Enviro 400's.but theyre swapping them out with Volvo B5LH's on a lot of routes near me, Im not fond of those. theyre hybrid buses - Ive been on a couple that have broken down - they wouldnt start up again after stopping at a stop.
I come from Dulwich and rode this route alot when growing up so was fascinating to see. Some interesting driving on your part in Herne Hill .. ahem One question, why have the devs made all the cars so old? Theyre all from the 80s / 90s, Citroen BXs, old Merc's, Opel Mantas, etc. looks weird having brand new buses in this kind of traffic.
I'm seven years late, but in 2012, these were the normal cars in Germany at the time. OMSI 2 TSLP was not built with the right car AI pack, so they used the default one
+Factory Chase it will has today's modeled buses that are made specifically for this map as well as some like the enviro 400 where its been modified and reskinned
+wclifton968 - gameplays & tutorials those are insanely expensive, I would probably go for something like 970, but then again maybe saving up for a titan or a 980 would be smarter, but its soooo much money which I do not have :(

Yes they had the same but the most PlaXton noice for the ALX400 is rare.

did you know that the ramp on the enviro 400 actually works? all you need to do is grab the outside of the ramp and drag it up
it's pretty rare; there is i gray and whatever thing you see at South-End-On-Sea to get your wristband.
