Excellent video Laura. I have been completely underestimating the value of a rubbing. It's been quite an education to see how much you use rubbings as a guide. TFS!!

Hi. Great to see filming up close on what you were doing. I get a better understanding. Thanks.

Hi Laura, what brand of water based ink do you use?

Can I ask what hardness of graphite stick you’re using? I always struggle with rubbings not coming out well.

Mine are all 2B - softer ones are much more difficult to use

Thank you Laura ... your answer to Philip here actually put a question in my mind - could you explain what the difference is between a 2B on the stick is to a 2H pencil? "B meaning"? Thanks.

@@LauraBoswellPrintmaker By "all" do you mean they come in different colors or is it sizes? Thanks.

Sorry - I have a pot of them - they are all the same :)

H - B are measures of hardness and softness - so a 6h pencil is extremely hard and will only deposit a tiny amount of graphite on the paper while a 6b pencil is very soft and will lay down a lot of graphite - same for the sticks
