Lovely bimble. Don't get me started on the OAPs and heating, I'm fuming. I love Autumn too. It's been a bit wet this week, but you can't beat an Autumn walk.
I like even thinking about the warm useful things I use in winter. Fleecy blankets, woolen socks, fluff lined slipper socks, comfy brand huge teddy bear fleece tops, velour blankets, cotton flannel sheets, vintage metal hot water bottles, oil lamps. Candles. In summer it's too hot and humid. In the winter I can add layers of clothing. I found a long green sweater made to look like fake fur, on sale, it's so warm and I imagine I look like a pine tree or a patch of lawn grass.
Bry, a lovely bimble with such words of wisdom, as always. Those people were following you because they couldn’t believe you were wearing a t shirt in Autumn!! 😂😂 ATB, Helen & Dave
The unit rates of gas and electricity do go up slightly in October, but nothing like they have been the last couple of winters. It's the ridiculous increase in standing charges that have made things seem more expensive, particularly if you don't use that much electricity.
Lovely bimble and talk. The things we do to keep warm, movement, more layers of clothes, snuggle up with our pets. When I get cold I seem stiffen up. Frigid and a bit rigid until I get moving and warm up. I have an elec throw that warms up quickly and is a blessing when it's cold inside. I agree it's important to get outside if we can.
i must say when i walk my dogs I can't stand people walking in my direction either 😂😂 Especially if they get close and look afraid of my dogs... walk the other way then and leave me alone 😂😂😂😂
Morning Bry.I remember in the 60s how cold it could be. When I went to bed I would slowly uncurl to heat the bed slowly from the ice box it was!!!!!! In the morning there would be ice inside the windows. My job as a boy was to light the fire in the sitting room . I always loved that early morning time to myself. Much love to you and Bodhi.
Im a boomer and proud of it. We had some cracking decades. Anyway, I was dragged up in a terraced house, no bathroom and an outside communal toilet. My bedroom windows used to freeze on rhe inside! Dad used to warm a house brick on the fire then wrap it in a cloth to warm my bed before I got in. 😂😂😂
@@TheRamblingsofBry Ya twonk! I was speaking collectively, I meant the UK inch. You'll have the whole of RUclips thinking you and I share an inch. Now go to bed. 😁
@@TheRamblingsofBry I like to keep things "street" and keep up with the kids. But oldies like yourself can use Twonk too. I'll swap it for one of your words like Lipsmear if thats ok?
Do not lay with dogs you will get parasites, it is unhygienic they are fine to have around the home but you should draw boundaries, people who sleep with dogs are usually lonely - its better to have limitations and respect!
I have always allowed Bodhi to decide where he sleeps, my bed, his bed, the couch etc. I have had dogs on my bed since a small child, no parasites yet!!!!! haha
I love this time of year too. I love the smell of wood burning in the air that you often get this time of year. 😀🇬🇧

Haha, you may be right. I swear I am getting more and more unsocial as the years pass haha
The flask idea is great. Obviously only heat the rooms you use through winter. I’ve got a charcoal hand warmer

Happy Autumn Bry x
Bless you mate, thankyou. I hope the season brings you all you need, and more...
Get a 4 season mummy sleeping bag made out of 400GSM hollowfibre. That will keep you warm even in minus temperatures inside the house.

I find that a Temu inch is a little shorter than our inch.
I didn't realise we shared an inch haha.....

@@johnlong3214 hahaha, is 'twonk' a word people of your age use, or can we all use it [I think I may know several twonks!]
