@@streetglide_24c62 just get a vpn that has points in the US, most big names have guides how to setup with GL.inet products, but generally you just input your username and password and have to download a file from your provider that gives the location you want (us). Then just make sure the switch is set to VPN and then anything connected should work like it is in the US
Yes, you may have to change to the non-custom version of openwrt but i would have thought it will work out of the box, i have tested this sort of things with openwrt routers before and it works fine
Your PC showed blocked on the client tab and blacked out and cannot be changed. How did you fix that? I think that also indicated you can't access the internet as well.
Do you still use this device fulltime do you have heat issues or random disconnections? There is also a newer model coming around may 2022 - Slate AX (GL-AXT1800) has WIFI 6

Yeah definitely (but only devices connected to it would be vpn'd)

Thank you....I couldn't find where to change the password for the wifi connection. It is obvious once you see it but the Key reference threw me off.

Have you got it in the right mode? I dont use mine as a client as i use wired Internet input

Ive not noticed any issues with it with either of those things, however, i guess the temp in the UK where i am is quite mild so that may be a factor.
