Wing Gundam Zero Custom - Master Grade | Straight Build Gunpla from Bandai

GBWC (Gunpla Builders World Cup) registrations are currently ongoing, so for today's video, we thought of sharing a bit of a story about our first ever MG (master grade) Gundam plastic model (Gunpla) kit, which we got as a gift from our friends on our wedding day. They chose well, knowing that both me and my wife are quite fond of tinkering with these toys, so we are very grateful to have such thoughtful friends. 😃
That said, it was not until the pandemic that we finally got the chance to start building it, and it did not even get completed back then. We finally got the last few pieces built (wings, weapons) just last year, and yet this is just a straight build without paint, panel lines or decals. Adulting sure hits hard, especially when you have kids 😅 So as much as we wanted to really sink our nails into this build, we can't simply pour our whole focus into it like how pro builders do it. Given that, we still hope you'd enjoy this quick preview on the details of this particular toy through the photos and footages that we've put together for this video.
Gundam Wing was the very first Gundam series that I watched via a local TV network way back in high school. My favorite mobile suits were Epyon and the Endless Waltz version of Heavy Arms (H-Arms Custom), which is currently a (slow) WIP build in my backlogs along with the Altron Gundam. The titular mobile suit, Wing, eventually got upgraded to Wing Zero after getting the Zero system, and eventually into the one featured in the video called Wing Zero Custom during the Endless Waltz OVA.
