@@cookingwithjackshow I'm a lazy cook--I use it for mixing baking dough, bread and bunches of other things. I just throw the bowl and beaters into the dishwasher after I'm done.
I enjoyed your funny comments and easy-going manner. Your tester's comments about the Subway cookie tasting like a sugar cookie and you using freeze-dried raspberries were helpful. Before watching your video, I tried to figure out the recipe, using a pint of freshly strained raspberries and my batter was too wet. I wanted to know if your end result was too salty. By the way, did your white chocolate chips keep their shape at being room temperature? With the oven on, making the kitchen warmer, I have to start out with frozen chips or partially frozen. Your cookies may have looked more like Subways, if you had creamed the butter and cream cheese first, then mixed in the vanilla and the egg. Slowly adding flour in (not all at once) and mix it thoroughly before folding in the chips and raspberries is the usual way of making baked products. Thank you for the video. It was helpful.
I never thought you would allow comments again.
This is one my favorite things, I get at Subway cookies are one of my favorite things. Thanks for sharing.
They have freeze dried raspberries at target for $5 a bag. Those ones you ordered on amazon are expensive
The cookies you made are fluffier because the cake mix has more leavening in it than a cookie recipe would.
Concerning garlic : a clove means one piece, a bulb is the whole cluster!
3:27, Me personally, I think I prefer pulling out my stand mixer for this part/recipe.
Jack, I'm surprised you haven't gotten a stand mixer yet. They make baking just about anything so much easier. I love mine!
I do! Too hard to pull out and clean when I can just mix in the bowl.

Also, would using a yellow cake mix make it taste more like Subways? It would have more of a golden look. Thank you for the ideas.
