still works, got my 1st kc today, took me a few tries.none of the guides actualy explain what it triggers to freeze there tho. its al about getting him to the far west(his limit), then jump 1 tile west when he should deagro you.

Although.. it only works about 1 out of 10 times due to the teleportation he does that de-aggro you because you move to far from him and ruins the pull.

It works. I did it yesterday. U can end up taking quite a bit of damage before you get him in the safe spot so I would say it's better than fighting him without safe spotting but not by much.

None of my melee combat stats are higher than 79. I did 8 kills last night and 6/10 were strange fruit drops. The other 2 were spell runes.
