Gura 2nd, Ame and/or Kiara are the middle takes coz their dances looked more solid. I guess I'd say Ina might on the 3rd or last take coz she has the most exaggerated movement out of all of them. 🤔

I'm thrilled Irys got to join. Because she doesn't have a gen herself, I get a little afraid she'll lag behind on exposure. She has such a fantastic sense of humor.
The biggest thing here that elevates it from simply being great to being amazing, is that the animation is individual. So many animators will just do one animation and apply it to each of the models, or one animation loop, or etc. These are five separate, slightly modified animations that make it feel far more natural rather than robotic. That's chef's kiss excellence right there.
I was just listening to Yona Yona Journey on repeat a few hours ago and seeing this on my notifs has made my day even more. Thank you for making videos, Kanauru. You are a gem to the hololive community!

I love that even though they were finally given official 3d models, the Holomyth girls still perfer the models that Priichu made for them whenever they do a 3D/VRCHAT Collab. It really goses to show how much they appreciate us fans.
Well, that's because the official Holo3D models require a specialized setup to work. This one just needs an Index and some trackers, so it's easier to setup.
@@syd.a.m Admittedly these models are likely to still be used a bit by the girls for one other reason, such as Gura's April Fools event: You can always keep commissioning Priichu for more and more outfits and new designs. Their official models are something they would need to go through Cover to get upgrades for.
I really like the style of Priichu's designs, so I don't mind if they prefer using it more, haha. Perhaps Priichu might be contacted to do designs for the rest of Hololive, who knows?
I really liked seeing DollIRyS in the background dancing as well. It reminds me of a kid dancing while watching their big sister do so. Of course, DollIRyS does much better than a kid would.

God I still absolutely adore these low-poly models, Priichu did an amazing job on them. They capture that anime cuteness without needing to be too HD, and Kanauru makes them move in such a way that makes me forget they aren't photorealistic. The choreography, the animation, just make them look alive.

One thing i noticed that's really satisfying they are not all perfectly in sync just how IRL you would not be if your aren't professional dancers, really cool detail I don't know if intentional or not.
Is it just me or do they each have slightly altered face and head animations unique to each member? I notice some of their heads lag a bit when turning to do a move or move their head just a little bit more than the rest. If that shit is deliberate then that's fucking sick. Must have been a pain to animate but it makes the whole video look so much more... alive. Like this was mocapped with 5 different people or mocapped 5 separate times. So cool.
