aqua's palpable disappointment was hilarious. i also love that everyone teased chloe that she looked like sprigatito ages ago, and now she legitimately shares characteristics with the final evolution
Presumably, it was a P5 reference for the final evolution, and the Chloe comparisons *accidentally* predicted it.
@@ZKP314 "mascarada" is Spanish for "masquerade". It's based on a typical costume for a masquerade ball, which is also where P5 gets its thing from. This is coincidence, it's not likely they based it on Persona, they just both drew inspiration from the same source
I love how chloe reaction to sprigatito was almost screaming not to stand up, to then moments later say floragato looks cute. And then upon seeing meowscarada basically goes *"It's me!"* and changes to also be wearing the mask.

I love seeing that rare girly side of Calli whenever there are cute critters involved, her reaction to Fuecoco's evolution was so sweet.
Its a scientific fact that tomboys tend to have the cutest girliest reactions.
@@sleepingparappa I love Fuecoco and Crocalor and Skeledirge for 3 reasons, 1: I love reptiles with a passion if I wasn’t going into marine biology it would be hepatology, 2) I’m the biggest ghost type Stan on the internet and skeledirge is right up my alley as a fire/ghost, 3) MEXICO, I just love Mexican aesthetic especially dia de los Muertos art

Shuba turning into Reine is probably the most shocking thing overall.
To be fair, it's not the first time we've found out that a tomboyish duck has a secret girly side.
There are two types of pink women:
The virgin onion: cringes at Crocalor, huffs copium for the next evo
The chad dad: loves her son unconditionally, praises his silly egg hat
I love how our precious orca was a little disappointed with Floragato, but came completely around with Meowscarada
I really can't understand how anyone could dislike fuecoco's final evolution, it's a firebreathing crocodile, that is just plain awesome.
What I like about it, and all of my favourite starter final evolutions, is that you can look at it and go, “yeah, that makes perfect sense, it’s a matured version of the basic form”.
Then you have Incineroar... :/
@@CaylexT atleast for meowscarda she stood up on 2nd Evo so there's no whiplash learning the final evo...torracat on the other hand was a perfectly fine quadrupedal mon then suddenly turned to lucha fest.

The evolution of the duck type starter is too powerful that it make break character to some of the Holo members.

You've got the Sprigatito users who are on board with the "please don't stand" meme, and then there's Aqua who wants a bishonen starter and got Skeledirge instead.
Seems to be the pattern of liking Sprigatito, 50/50 on Fuecoco, and no one liking Quaxwell at all
I can't speak for others but I choose Fuecoco BECAUSE it looked goofy. If it turned out super cool, bonus. But because it stays goofy I am just as happy.
I love how everyone wanted the cat to stay on all fours. but we still end up loving it anyway.
Love Quaquaval, but Quaxwell has boring middle Evo syndrome imo

I love to see how Korone is loving every moment of playing pokemon, such a cute doggo.
I was devastated when my adorable Quaxly evolved into whatever the hell that middle stage was lol
I never judge a middle stage cause they're offten awkward middle and not representative of the final product.
I noticed right away that it kept playing with its hair and seemed kind of “vain” so even though I don’t like the evolution for it I wasn’t disappointed because it felt like forewarning
I'm glad to see our fear of pokemon standing up is universal

I remember Chloe's debut when she wore the mask, and then when she took it off she became exponentially more cute. Now I'm so used to seeing her without the mask that it seems weird to put it back on.

The “please don’t stand” meme is so ubiquitous among Japanese fans that it’s frankly shocking that Game Freak opted for not one but TWO of the most “furry-friendly” starter evolutions ever
At least it didn’t come outta nowhere like Incenaroar suddenly standing in the final evo this time.
I am shocked that Fuecoco became quadrupedal.. since.. it walks on two legs for two stages... honestly wish that Sprigs stayed on all fours and Fuecoco was the bipedal one... Quaxly I just wish leaned more in the pompous hair thing instead of "but father.. I love. DANCE"

I guess Meowscarada & Quaquaval will join the ranks of the group/faction of Starter Pokemon that despite the gender ratio, their design plus theme-origin heavily implies them to being Female Pokemon; just like they did with Delphox and Primarina

I love how Fuecoco’s evolutions were the most positive of all the starters.
Fuecoco from baby who has 2 hairs, become teenager with bushy hair, then become adult with bald head is the most realistic think i ever see
The final form of Noel's pokemon will have the princess walking just like Subaru, lol
Now i'm questioning: is the second form of any starter pokemon like a puberty phase?
That's what I've been referring to the 2nd stage of most/all starters, their awkward teens/adolescence pretty much since Gen 1.
It remains accurate to this day, and many tend to be conventionally unappealing, with a few exceptions (Floragato being the latest example of that).
Between her Typhlosion and her Meowscarda, I'm 100% sure that Shion would at the very least snog her Pokémon, if not shag them. I also get the feeling that she might be part-Zoroark on her father's side, but my roomate hasn't fully talked me into *that* wild theory of hers yet.
