If I had to leave the garden in the hands of my husband for a few days, I'd go ahead and say my goodbyes to all my plants before leaving LOL!! He did a great job! Your hostas look better than mine lol. I bought some celosia seeds, I hope to have a long border of them in the front flower bed next year, and hope they look as good as yours.

Haha - thank you! Ooo, a celosia border sounds beautiful! The hostas pooped out sooner than I thought they would. Thanks for writing and have a great weekend!

hi nicole, enjoyed the video. and as always your garden still looks beautiful. some of my flowers are looking a little down also. little more work for us but, it will start back looking great. my snake plant is indoors and it looks a little sad not sure whats going on with it. going to repot and see. lol your banana tree is really large and beautiful. thank you for sharing with us and passing on your tips it helps alot. hope you have a great day!!!

Hi there! One thing I've found with snake plants is to kind of neglect them when you keep them inside. I definitely try not to water much, because that could be an issue. Just a little hint, I filmed a video that will probably come out next week about propagating snake plants from a leaf cutting, so if you need to make more of yours, you can 😁 Have a great weekend!!!

Good morning Nicole, Your garden still looks amazing. So much color! When I use liquid fence the leaves of the plants look like they have white powder at times. I have never had an issue with it killing foliage. Also, saw that Mexican sage popping in your garden 💜 it almost looked like a topiary! Just stunning ❤

Ah yes, the Mexican sage looks GOOD!! I am so happy. Of course in hindsight I wish I got more, but that's the way I usually feel. I noticed some white spots on my sweet potato vine now, so that's a bummer since the spray is actually keeping the deer away. Have a great weekend!!!

Hi Nicole! Big ups to hubby! Have you had deer browse your lantana? I've planted them for 4 - 5 seasons, and our deer don't touch them. Deer won't usually browse on plants that have a strong natural fragrance. So you shouldn't need deer fence on lantana, lavender, salvia etc. Btw - Our lantana are going into dormancy. Maybe yours are going night, night! Thanks for sharing!

Hi there! No I don't have deer bothering the lantana, but they were going right up to the front door, so I was just trying to make the path icky for them. LOL. I sprayed everything they had to walk by. It's possible dormancy is the key, but spots are weird. Thanks so much for writing, and hope you have a great weekend!

So weird, my lantana did the same thing, I blame it on the two storms that blew through! I picked off the rusty leaves daily, and it's making a comeback, as I'm sure your beauty will do! I was able to find the same lantana last year after seeing how pretty and full yours was...I even had a zebra longwing enjoying it yesterday, a rare sight these days!

I am so glad to hear it's making a comeback for you! I think you are right, the storms definitely did a number on our gardens! I appreciate this message very much! Hope you are enjoying a beautiful weekend!

Love your channel. I am in zone 8a and my plants are reacting the same as yours. I think the weather is confusing them and me. Trying to leave some things in the ground, but don’t want to have to buy more plants next season. I want to challenge myself to go a year without buying anymore plants. 😂😂

I chuckled when you said the weather is confusing both your plants and you. Isn't that the truth!!! Oooo, I couldn't go a year without buying more plants. Great challenge! Thank you so much for your kind words. I hope you have a great weekend!!

Leaving my husband in charge of my garden I’m ok with because he waters everything…everything…even my succulents that don’t like a lot of water. lol Ok, so what do ya do? Either stay home or deal with what’s still alive when you get home. lol I’ll take my chances & leave it in his hands. (It was always our dog that I worried most about.)

You're so right - we take our chances when we leave anyone else in charge but ourselves.😄But, of course we can't always be around our garden (even if we want to! 😅) Have a great weekend!
