  • Riot Games and Honda are proud to partner and bring these highly personal stories of passion and determination of the world’s biggest Lolesports stars to fans around the globe.
    TSM. Bjergsen. Throughout their history together, the LCS’ most successful team and its greatest mid laner have been inseparable and, until recently, unstoppable. After TSM’s founder Reginald convinced Bjergsen to join the team in 2014, Bjergsen led TSM to eight straight LCS Finals appearances, winning five titles and two MVPs in his first four years with the team.
    But nothing lasts forever. In 2018 and 2019, TSM failed to win an LCS title or to even qualify for the World Championships. It’s an unprecedented drought for the Danish mid laner turned North American superstar, who faces a critical decision heading into the 2020 offseason as the league’s most sought after free agent. He could join nearly any other LCS team or return to his home region of Europe.
    But for Bjergsen, that history with TSM -- and with Reginald -- is an intangible that can’t be matched by anyone else.

    • @yummychips_
      @yummychips_ 4 года назад +1

      @Declan Bradley it was a bit more complicated than that. If you watched season 1-5. The analytics show that during the meta, if dyrus was not kept down, he had major hidden impact late game. The meta just never favored dyrus for champion picks nor did TSMs international strategies. In NA they held their ground, had a few close calls to relegation's once NA teams figured out how to beat TSM cause of the international scene. Tsm was my favorite team season 1-5. But it was obvious their strategy was to play around dragon, leave top alone. Dyrus was skilled enough that even if he fell behind he could impact mid or late game so it was advantage for TSM to put all their efforts on mid, bot, and dragon. That was due to the meta forcing top to play into initiators and tanks. Dyrus had a huge range of champions he could play at a top tier. He was feared by the international teams which is why they designed the camp dyrus strategy that literally every team used, and improved upon each year. They knew he was forced to play champs for the team, champs that were often weak to early ganks and harass. They snowball mid, top or jg faster than TSM could counter react. End the game. Every team and analysis has said, that no top laner could have survived it. The problem wasn't dyrus, it was reginalds iron clad strategy of leaving top alone.

      The Drive is more of a boost weirdly enough. In the last 2 years we've never seen one on a TSM member, and out of all the members it's their leader.

    I've seen this comment time and time again...I may not like TSM, but I like Bjerg and THAT is how you do it...
    One thing I dislike so much with eSports is that people switch teams so much. There is no DEEP loyalty, there is no DEEP culture...but for TSM, as much as I dislike the org, I think Bjerg is precisely what TSM needed and needs today. Bjerg has given NA everything. I've actually said it to myself a few times over the years that it's a shame that he doesn't go farther in Worlds and any international tournament because he deserves it so much. I just hope he looks back on all this in the future and is still proud of his choices to be and stay in NA. We need him here because even if you don't like TSM...Bjerg is someone that will make other players better. Period.

    I'm so glad regi is finally taking a backseat and letting bjerg take over. I am so hopeful this year. I don't care how we start. It's a learning curve with a new team, but I believe that we finally built a roster that has the potential to go far and I'm very hopeful for this new team, please don't take away pieces unless it absolutely doesn't work.
