I was in the uk (Manchester and London) this past spring, and I would order a gin and tonic with a splash of chambord (not knowing there was such a thing called a bramble) and the bartenders all looked at me like I ordered some thing crazy. 🤷♂️😳🤷♂️
Nicely done - just got introduced to the bramble cocktail and am really enjoying it. Also stumbled upon an interesting twist to the recipe using vodka and creme de cassis - also delicious. Can't decide which I prefer more! :-)
Yup! Best to use crushed ice but I didn’t mention... I’ve personally always done them at events when we make 100+ so crushed ice hasn’t been an option..
“Float the creme de mure on top”
*creme de mure immediately drops to the bottom of the glass*
0:50 bloody hell Steve shake so hard that jigger runs away!

Haha that spooky men xD
WHAT?!!!! You didn't pop a smile for us when you shook the drink!!!! Blasphemy!!!!!
Love this cocktail! That balance of sour with blackberry sweetness is a killer when serving it to guests for the first time! 👍

The effect is better if you use pebbled ice
I make this cocktail at home but I use vodka instead of gin, any idea of the name of this variation ?
Vodka Bramble 👌
Great British drink Steve! Gotta be drizzling that Creme de Mure!! Cheers.
I know, it's a tasty number hey! Every time I have it on a function menu, it goes off!!
I love the Gin Bramble. I sometimes use cinnamon sugar syrup .. it works well with the liqueur and lemon :)
Sounds intriguing!
Anyone else notice the Jigger slowly slide down the bench as he shakes?
Ghosts!! 😉
Ohh...a pre shake and smile video 💪😎
Did you really say "local gin from Renmark"? as in the Riverland? Huh must have got much cooler up there since my last visit!
23rd st have been producing gin there for years.
Good jobs bro,thank you
45 mils is about 1.5 oz which is one shot.
Not in Australia.. one shot = 30ml
:O That's gonna confuse a lot of Americans!
22-25 ml is a shot in EU
Think its supposed to be crushed ice in a mound on top... then the creme de mure will stay up there

I like it better when he doesn't smile to the camera.
Its just a Bramble right? All brambles use gin?
Correct - it’s titled as a ‘gin bramble’ for SEO purposes 😆
