It was good to see Steve run across the stage in this clip! He seemed pretty pumped up. Judging by this clip they're much better rehearsed than in previous live videos from recent years. Are the tempos of the songs consistent with the studio albums. It appeared to me that Howe's Yes lineup had been playing everything a little bit more slowly.
OK, I give in. I've been a huge fan since 1971, but after Heaven and Earth and the loss of Chris Squire, I finally gave up on them. BUT, this is a damn good performance (even if Jay Schellen is just Alan White 2.0), I defer to Messrs. Squire and Wakeman, who both said there may be a YES after they're long gone, like a symphony orchestra goes on for generations. I don't think this lineup has the writing and creativity Howe and Anderson (and Squire) had, but I could be wrong. Remember, the original band was about to be released from their record deal until Starship Trooper hit in Shreveport. Maybe third time's a charm. And Steve Howe is a fucking rock god.
The vocals ? You just can't hide the fact they're weak, and that's what made YES special. However, performing 'Drama' material; along with their last 3 releases would be the wise choice when you have 'Jon Anderson & the Band Geeks' performing YES classics masterfully in comparison.
This sounds great! I love the Drama album
Great concert I really enjoyed it.
They were spot on. Every song was great

L A City College has great NDT metallurgy classes...rumour has it(oopsie doodles...)
Could it be any slower. This must be the most highly paid tribute band doing the rounds these days.

Seems sluggish and hollow. Sorry. I know it could be the recording, but ick
Your apology makes me laugh. Context will take you far, learn it.
@@evankeal it’s badly played, sluggish and they are just awful. And they bring shame on the name, Is that enough context ?
Where's Anderson?
He is not in the band since 2018
Long before that @@GeorIron
He's not playing with the band for the last 20 years. He's playing with band of geeks
@@fastreliefyou’re right. I meant 2008. Just made a typo
@@GeorIron Too bad seems like a tribute band now.
