Top Design , thanks Robert for the info you sent me. printing one out now on a Elegoo 4 Max from transparent PLA. 0.4 walls 4% gyro infill ( main fus part took almost 4 hours ) to part i think total time with settings i am using just under 15 hours total print time. i will have to wait and see 4 parts down a few to go
Oh wow! Looks like you need a faster printer lol🤣. One thing though, I would NOT recommend printing with any infill, I have printed 5 of these models out, and the 0.4 no infill is the best. I would have published a video assembling it and flight, but I gave it to my younger brother (who is 13) and he dropped it on its tail so I'm going to fix that and give it another go hopefully today! And btw, I bought my ender 3 v3 se on AliExpress (it printed this plane in one night), it's only $124, highly recommend!: www.aliexpress.us/item/3256807487005820.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.69e938daw86HKw&mp=1&_gl=1*4hijro*_gcl_au*MjI2MzA3MDM4LjE3MjUxMTM4NjE.*_ga*NTMzNTI4NTAyMTE4MDExLjE3MjUxMTM3MDQ3ODA.*_ga_VED1YSGNC7*MTcyOTU5ODg1MC4xMi4xLjE3Mjk1OTg4NTQuNTYuMC4w&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa
Yeah, thanks for the advice. I printed one in lightweight PLA and it didn’t turn out very good. I’ve just printed another one in regular PLA and got it out to 166g so I will do a video soon on that one flying!
I copied the links from v1:ruclips.net/video/sm94YOQ8hvg/видео.html in which I used magnets to hold on the cover. I guess I forgot to remove them, will do.
what size was the rod you put through the wings it was tan or light brown maybe wooden dowel? i have all the metal rods just need to know the size of the big one.
I just got one at Home Depot, but I have added 3-D printed pins and I will be doing a video using those soon. I’ve already shot the video. I just need to edit and publish it. So stay tuned!
No, I don’t use gyro although I probably should get into using them! a parts list, You will just need the set and both metal rods I believe. And yes, this plane is set up like a standard plane so you could definitely use Gyro with it!
It doesn’t really need a stronger motor, you can put one though as long as it fits in the holes! I am currently designing an airbus A220 that will use 3-d printed edf’s that are powered by 2 A2212 motors! So stay tuned! (As always, the plans will be free!)
Thank you for kindly sharing your project, it’s very generous of you most always trying to make a buck even in this toy hobby 😊 so thanks for sharing 🙏 is there a difference between the Print files section verse the Model file section in your printables? Or are they the same? I just want to verify before printing either section if it’s complete set and in arranged order with all necessary parts to complete whole build? Thank you again for the great content
Yeah, no problem. Did you just get into 3-D printing? There are 3MF files which you have to slice to your printer and the other files are called g-codes which are for a printer. When using the 3MF make sure to import as model. if you have any more questions, feel free to ask me.👍
@@RobertGRitz yes actually just recently got into 3D printing kinda late. Facilitated at all possible applications with 3D. Thanks for your content, I tried importing 3mf Fuse 1 file as a test slice on my A1 mini but file errors to floating layers and missing wall or two then under standard profile in my slicer. I’m trying to understand your .6 wall etc examples but doesn’t seem to slice well in Bambu studio that great even in basic profile as a test preview. I’m obviously doing something wrong probably. Any clarification from you and help would be awesome. Thanks again for your efforts
Oh, you have bamboo studio I’m not sure if you can try using Cura, just change wall and top bottom layers to 0.6 mm thick and change the infill to 10% lightning
I’m not sure how to use bamboo studio or what the settings would look like in bamboo studio, maybe try to get a RUclips video on how to change infill and top/bottom/side walls. Feel free to let me know if you need any more help.
I start too Print one. I have Problem with the wing 1 layer outside ist Mack dents with lightning so . I make 3 Print 1 layer outside 0,4 infill 2 %gyro. I will say you If it Work I will use a rs2205 Motor
Ok, nice! Don't forget to post a make on printables! If the 3mf's are having issues, then just use the stl's! Also, I have photos of what some of the parts should weigh, you can compare yours to that to see if it will fly!
@@RobertGRitz thanks, it’s so great that you made it so easy to make, compared to the gasb planes it’s a lot cheaper too. The gasb guy makes you pay for the plans. And this looks so much cooler! Keep up the great work😀
anyone have 3MF files for Bambu, I am following the settings and I am at 369.75 grams without any electronics just the body and wings assembled with no electronics. Using Bambu PLA lightening pattern 0% infill 0.6% top and bottom layers way to heavy

Don't worry my friend its very well for demostraction ı will print it 👍
Thanks, I'm making another prototype rn, hopefully it will fly better! It's a little delayed due to the hurricane that went right over my house!
Great video!
Plane looks tail heavy. Print in in LW PLA and add a big 4s battery in the front and it will fly well.

Thanks for free 3d plan
Of course! I like it when other offer free plans too!
beginner friendly? what's the speed like?
Ok, after building and flying a lot of other planes, there are some easier ones out there, this is probably intermediate. Thx for the boosts!
Why is the vertical stabilizer not in the center of the fuselage? Have you calculated some offset for some reason or is this a mistake?
It was a mistake that has been fixed! The fixed one is called: Fus Tail 7 v2.stl
@@RobertGRitz cool thanks
Nice!
why do you show only a 2 second clip of it flying?
Because it........... um ya...............................................................................................haha🤣🤣
@@RobertGRitz tell the truth……😂😂😂
@@RobertGRitz I think you crashed it after knife flight

i have a few questions 1 dose it have a gyro 2 do you have a parts list naming everything you will need 3 if it dosent have a gyro could i put one in?

And the glue obviously. the prop is an upgraded prop that is optional, although the set comes with two.
@@RobertGRitz thank you i love how you are doing this for free. we need more people like you
What about the battery ?
what do you mean? I used a 3s 2200mah
@RobertGRitz thanks
What kind of remote control do you use?
I use a Flysky fsi6
@@RobertGRitz perfect thank you and then one more thing. What kind of battery did you use? i couldn't seem to find that anywhere
Nevermind I just looked at the pics again and saw 3s battery
@@RobertGRitz me too
do you know if there is a stronger motor that you could put on it incase the fuselage is too heavy

what motor did you buy the link you listed has two different motors it a 1400kv or the 2200kv again thanks for all the help
Either one is good, I believe the 2200kv will make it go faster. Not sure though.

And I will post the 3mf files for bambu printers!
Slicing it on Bambu lab is working good for me, I'll put the g-codes on printables!

You mean G codes? Sure, I’ll do those tomorrow! Look on printables and they should be there!
