I have been living in Norway for 10+ years, and I know a good number of immigrants who are trying their best to relaunch their carrier in health sector here in Oslo. The bureaucracy of the Norwegian Health System is ridiculously slow and expensive. The language requirement, processing time and investment is so high that a candidate use 5+ years in average to start working as a doctor. The whole process is so tedious, confessing and unnecessary complex. To cut the story short, I request you guys to try other relatively easier countries like USA, Germany and Australia, but not waste time and energy in Norway. It is a great country though; especially easier for other fields like IT and engineering, but one of the most challenging countries for health workers (nurses and doctor). This is my honest view and with this I don't enforce anyone to do so. The decision is always yours.

Bergenstest is not a requirment. You have to complete B1 or May be B2 level now, that is equivalent to trinn3 (studied at University of Oslo)
