I've made homemade ice cream in the past. It is really expensive to make as I don't have a cow or goat to get milk from. Do you make your own vanilla? I've heard that there is a way to do it by using whiskey or vodka and vanilla beans. If there is another way to make it, I am not aware of it. I buy pure vanilla at the grocery store. I grew up on pure vanilla. My mom never bought imitation vanilla. I tried it one time and never again.
How much ice did you use in the bucket? I always bought 5 bags of ice and would go through two of them right away. I couldn't tell what was in the skillet. Some of the text did not show up very well; but, the end result showed a tasty bowl of ice cream with three different toppings.
Here is a suggestion if you ever consider changing the name of this channel: BAB: Country Life. The BAB stands for Broken Arrow Bison. You can even fully write it out. This was a pretty good first video for your new channel.
So glad you enjoyed it Donna! We wish we made our own vanilla. 😥 Maybe someday! We used 5 lbs of ice. That’s a great suggestion!
