Featured in the film TALK TO ME
From Sadistik's EP L'appel Du Vide
Verse 1
I saw your face displayed upon a crescent moon
That wavers up and down depending how the petals bloom
Doomed always destitute fused through infected roots
Searching for a message but there’s nowhere left to exit to
Heart full of vestibules scars show I’m resolute
Why seek a resolution? Narcosis heaven sent
Tar grows beneath my feet dark grows infested fruit
Too exhausted need to breathe car smoke emits perfume forever
I’ve been Inhaling the thinnest air
Fishscales on my skin and hair
Set sail but you but you didn’t care
Dancing like I’m Fred Astaire standing on a Finesterre
Ready for the rocks below, chest still full of rocket fuel
Flammable just another animal for fossil fuel
All my words are oxidized jar of flies are molecule
I find solace in the solitude
Everything grew silent when I called for you
Verse 2
I saw your face displayed upon a harvest moon
Tried to sing my pain away in ways I know it’s not in tune
Save me from the jaws of gloom maybe I can offer you
More than what I say I’m made of lately it’s my Waterloo
Hate me for my monikers baby I’m a connoisseur
Gave away my parts to you sang it like a cockatoo
Smaller still always crawled uphill to face robotic views
Haunt me when the monsters taunt me talking in their solemn hues together
They say I got a way with words
It never gave me worth but still I got away with worse
Always dreaming while they take their turn
Throwing matches til I’m ashes leave me at the stake to burn
Encased in urns earnest fake concern circus circles us
Aching churns dermis brazen stay alert in turtle shell
Mazes turned fragrant say the word before I hurt myself
Pain occurs sacred when you came up from infertile soil
Verse 3
I saw god in a bodybag
I got lost in the stars when they’d cross like a polygraph
Never lie cardiac in every line insomniac forever
Never go to sleep again black lungs from the falling ash
Giraffe tongue with a heart to match
Get sawed in half like the Dahlia
Place pain on display in Hollywood
Paint it all like Dali would Face of War
Fountain pens melting countenances in a drawing book
A psycho full of cyclones eyes closed
I go cold when I fly low
Brains feed on haikus isolated in my temples, Cairo
Bones jut from they’re homes like they’re silos
I’m Silent Hill tell me where the time went
Kill Pyramids that followed with the knife gripped,
Vice-grips always on the mind when the crisis hits
Everywhere it’s like a mine I step add the minuses
I’m an atom bomb made of atoms add ‘em up
Adam’s apple’s rotten smashed to applesauce adamant
No Adam Eve in anatomy only albatrosses if I have to speak
Another casualty of the casted wings casually
I’m high again vibrant as a hyacinth idling
So I pretend that my defense is working
Lurking with the burdens that still hide below the surface
I know these things have meaning sometimes I don’t know the purpose
Introverted dizzy from the disconcerted tizzies
Mr. Perfect isn’t worth it give me what I didn’t earn
Put it in an urn live and learn I could never tell the difference
When I’m miniature red alerts read aloud like ministers
It’s hard to breathe when you’re drowning in the goodbyes
But I’m still here now so tell me what that look like?
They use a sword to signify that you’re a good Knight
Then use the same one to kill you and say goodnight

I work at a movie theater and i heard this song playing in the credits as i was cleaning and got hooked
🫡😈
@@TheRealSadistik fire man, good luck to you ❤❤
@@yeahtbh.161 im an engineering student working a part time job, atleast I'm working an honest job.
youll love all of his music then. Everything he makes lives in this same vein. He changes things up and constantly evolves but always keeps his signatures intact throughout his music. For the past twelve years I've been in awe of his talent and he continues to get better. One of the best writers currently breathing and a truly unique artist who I will always support.
same as you man:)))
Talk to Me just might be top 3 horror films of 2023 for me! Great story and thematic elements, disturbing at times, effective use of gore, and incredible acting from majority of the cast. Wish there was more Hayley though
What’s the other 2 incidious and boogey man?

Do you know the other song that was played in the middle part of Talk to Me? It is stuckk in my mind, but I can't ffind it...

@@billwoods7578 Thank you :3
Came for this song after watching the movie. Beat is fire
Ya man it is🔥🔥
Frrr
All his music is soo good. Been a huge fan of him for about 15 years. Check out his catalog
"Dancing like I'm Fred Astaire standing on a Finesterre". (Finesterre - the end of the earth). One of the most beautiful yet dark lines ever!
Dude i paused the movie and started to search this song all over the Internet. Found it !! Damn!!! 🔥
Welcome 😈
Shazam is your friend. Can find it without scouring the Internet for hours. Took 1 second for the app to identify the song.
Same . Woke up the next morning still searching 🦾
What I typically do if I am watching a movie and hear a song I like is to try to remember the lyrics as best I can while trying to get my phone. So you can type whatever lyrics you remember then the genre, then the word lyrics. It's not the simplest, but it works in a pinch
Yo! Hearing “I saw god in a body bag” in the closing credits of “Talk To Me” was 🔥🔥🔥
Just heard this at the movie theater and was not expecting the most underrated GOAT I've been listening to for 20 years to be playing on the credits. Congratulations Cody i hope you get some more listeners from this
Appreciate you 🫡
“Talk To Me” 🖐🏻 Such a great ending plus great song to use at the end 🔥
"Pain occurs sacred when you came up from infertile soil"... Holy shit dude that wording is so accurate! I hope more ppl find your music.
aint that the truth
I've been in and out of the hospital for weeks now. Fighting off death through a failing heart and a series of complications. This EP, this song, has brought me to acceptance. I'm still fighting though
Keep fighting brother!
Will pray for you. Dont fear death though (easier said than done), its the only thing we're all guaranteed and 1 day we'll all go wherever we go from here
Are you still with us?
Hope youre still hanging in there putting up a fight!
You good?
The fact that the credits kicked off with your verse was AWESOME
🫡
First listening, I didn't wait more than the first three lines to instantly know that this song would join the very long list of Cody's masterpieces which I carried with me over the years since 2008. Looped all day long with the rest of the record. I can't find words accurate and strong enough to describe that feeling, and it wouldn't be wise to try to find some. So, I would simply thank you for your poeticness. Keep up the good art. 🖤
word
Agreed
To say the least
So cool to see you comment on a rap track.
I have no idea why he switched the beat after the second verse, I loved the depressing beat & flow, i have had to cut the audio and keep the first 2 verses, i still have the original song too..
Otherwise this guy's a body of work, i'll put this song on top there with tracks like Absolution, Ashes to Ashley, The Beast, 8 & 1/2, Waves, Every song from The art of Dying, Chemical Burns, orange, to name a few
talk to me brought me here! amazing movie!
Lol same the closing music caught my attention

I have to Say this,i am italian, people talk about the beat and the fact that the movie brought them here buy honestly Bro your lyrics are Fire,i am so inspired by your writing skills !!!
3:11 Look at all you people comin from the Talk To Me movie
That end credit song is stupid how good it is. Movie was great, but its the song i am gonna be telling my friends about.
After movie this song hit me rly hard, I felt like in another dimension. This beat bring a lot of "trance" vibe - with good sound system in cinema much more powerful.
Unrelated but nice Waddles profile pic, but yeah "Talk to Me" that ending really went well with this song, tragic but entrancing.
There is nothing trance about this song.
another dimension i like that
@@yeahtbh.161 I know. I wanna say like sometimes beat going hard Into your soul, when I was young trance music make me feel like that. Last time i had simillar feelings when I listened "City by night" - bix xwi
you are the reason I open youtube
keep going true artist ! love and respect from IRAN
What a genuinely sad, heart ripping ending to a movie accompanied by this song is such a total gut punch.
I see a few comments of the people who came here from the movie Talk to Me, duddeeee!! I just got home from theaters and my jaw literally dropped when i heard Sadistik start playing. Thank you for bringing back memories to the person who put together the soundtrack!! And thank you Sadistik for your blood sweat and tears 🖤 Edit: Also, what an amazing movie?!??!?!!!!!!!!
Same here I was like WTF is that sadistik after listening to him for 20 years now 😅
Big fan for a long time also. His music is insanely good
I woke up depressed, opened RUclips, and realized you just released this album. Turned my whole day around. Your so beautiful
I had to break my watch to go find this song straight away! goddamn the vibe and flow in this song gives me goosebumps! got to listen to everything else dropped by you now
Appreciate you. Stick around 🫡
Sadistik just keeps-on outdoing himself. These epically-scored longer songs are more impressive with each EP.
Been a fan since Searching for Some Beautiful, and noticed this was in Talk to Me.
Genuinely made me ecstatic to see you getting some big screen recognition, couldn't stop telling my girlfriend how cool it was since you were pivotal to my teenage years.
Keep it up man.
Talk To Me was a good movie
one of better horror movies i seen in recent times!
It really was! You know it's crazy, I forced myself to watch at first I was like ughhh this is probably gonna be another stupid ass teen horror new school movie, but DAMN was I wrong! It just reminds me don't live inside of a box gotta try new things always....
@KingNez89 Me too! When I first saw the trailer, I was like, "Meh, I'll check it out." But from beginning to end, I was blown away. And they've confirmed that they're making a Part 2. I can't wait!
Not only good but also very interesting
@@VGClementine no way, I just finished it and thought damn I would love a sequel to this
This is in Talk to me!!!
I don't know if I ever heard a song that encapsulated the movie it was in before. This one does it. Set the tone perfectly.
I can’t explain how this makes me feel, like fucking unstoppable
This guy is a legend. Another masterpiece of an album!
damn that slaps, holy hell, cheers from france
"Talk To Me" made me listen to this masterpiece🔥🔥🐐
im here because of "Talk To Me" GREAT MOVIE.
Talk to Me brought me here!
i heard this in the theatre and i had goosebumps. this is one of those songs that’s almost haunting but so ethereal. it’s truly beautiful
Shout out from Prineville Oregon much love and respect for you and your music keep doing what you do love the album so far
You paint such a beautiful picture.
Chills surround me. Please never stop what you do.
Your lyricism, poeticness, and word play continues to ascend. You are very much an inspiration to me in writing. Blown away by the whole song but holy shit that first verse!
The last 1 broski!
Agreed check music out 2
Talk to Me brought me here. What an ending
I was like damn….
Your music is therapeutic to me and I just wanna thank you for all that you do much love
Once again the best underground emcee hits us with a wave of genius
I recently started listening to Sadistik again and sometimes I'm shocked by how different from my life is from when I was eighteen.
Moment i heard this song In movie I instinctly grabbed my phone and used SHAZAM. Love It man.
Welcome 😈🙏🏻
The Artist and this track is so big. So wtf is this so underrated?

I'm rooting for you brother, your talent is insane🎉❤
Thank you for existing
Would love an instrumental version of the 2nd half of the song, beat is just soul lifting
SONG IS SO GOOD OMFG
Man, I have to say this song makes my soul crawl and it also made me think a lot. Thank you, thank you. Another song like that would be cool
Considering I'm not keen on any kind of rap, hip hop or anything related, I have to admit this is pretty awesome.
Heard it in the film 'Talk To Me' like most I guess.
Call of the void, love it
Just watched the movie talk to me with my girl and it was absolutely amazing 🤯💯💯💯 ending scene blew my mind
Good movie for a horror 7/10 . Go see barbarian worth to watch its horror to
YO YO THIS SONG IS LIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU TALK TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Long time listener of Sadistik, got into his music looking for solace after the passing of the late great Mikey aka Eyedea of Eyedea and Abilities. Also a big horror fanatic and I was super thrilled to hear one of my favorite underground artists to make an appearance in the flick Talk To Me. Glad to see you making waves Sadistik, keep making this amazing art!
I would REALLY love an instrumental version of this song, it’s such a great banger 😮💨
I’m digging this vibe!!! Always coming back with something that challenges my soul.
Now please...COME TO BOISE IDAHO
Talk to me was phenomenal and so is this song
This song was the only phenomenal thing about the movie
I can’t describe how this song makes me feel, i just love it.
Hands down best track on the album.
Some of the best bars I've heard from any song this year. ❤️
This song should be on Instagram music. I would love to share some reels with it.
I didn't know they put this song on Talk to me..... I think I now have to see that movie. I've loved this song since it first dropped two years ago, searching for this song I saw that it's on the movie. Glad Sadistik is going to be brought new fans.
Instantly one of my new favorites, its like the Exception to Everything and A Song for the End of the World had a baby. Fantastic track here man, really digging the new EP!
I feel same Exception to everything is my fav ever…and this one is so close to it
The music just keeps getting better 🔥🔥
recognized this immediately in the movie... awesome cody! ♥
Finally songs longer than 2 and a half minutes.
I've come to almost appreciate the shorter songs in their own way. Sadistik once said it's almost a sort of challenge to fit everything you want into a shorter song and make it great.
@@thomasabeyta6388 Its just hard to get into a vibe with a song and then it ends suddenly. I prefer the Ultraviolet and FFMF days
@@Y34RZ3R0iscoming FFMF was special, so many late nights walking around the city with that album. UV was great too but in its own way, Sadistik got so many crazy features on that album. But yeah the short songs feel more of like poetry entries than entire songs, but I still appreciate them too, guys a brilliant writer regardless. Would be cool to hear a UV pt 2
Here From Talk To Me .. Awesome Soundtrack 😊
This is the best track you have ever made! And I've listened to every one of your released tracks sadistik. Your poems and flow just transformed out of this world type shit
Is the begging part one of Nicole Nicole dollanganger song???
“Talk to me” brought me hear lbs……dis a heart toucher 💯
I love that melancholy and dark passages in the background, your lyrics, you captured the weight of emotions perfectly!!! Thank you for that pieces of our Soul man \m/ Believing in yourself means putting together a puzzle of your emotions, a thought that you keep as a memory, is like a puzzle put together from God himself.
A perfect song to go with perfect album artwork
How could anyone ever dislike this song?
The world is an extremely unreliable critic.

Was so happy to hear this in Talk to me, incredible stuff!
I really do fw this. That transition 🔥
I think horror has become great again after a longtime
This is….I don’t even know what to say…just love your style…and this beat and your lyrics and flow is what I love since The Balancing Act
Fck bro, its like this song is like a punch in the chest! The first part is already incredible, then that second instrumental you never expect it! Fxkn amazing song dude....and so was talk to me...
Damn the beats 🎧
The overall poetic tone along with the soul gripping imagery is just....wow man. I wish THIS was the kind of rap on mainstream radio. the REAL SHIT....instead of all that superficial garbage.
I understand this EP as a journey through Sadistik's career. It feels like a composion of all he gave us in the past 13 years.
But maybe, I'm wrong and I need more listenings.
As always Cody, brilliant work. You changed so much since then but stayed true to yourself.
Your art is unique and I will follow you, wherever this journey takes place in the future.
-The Sadists-
2:30ish gave me Waves vibes
IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS SONG FOR SO LONG. I saw the movie twice in theatres just for the fire ending

Wow this beat just fits so perfectly to your lyrics. What a masterpiece really ! 🔥🔥
Talk To Me brought me here 😩
Welcome 😈🤌🏻
This song is a banger. It reminds me of some of the stuff I used to hear on SoundCloud back in 2013.
You just keep getting better and it's mind blowing. Thank you Cody
Never gets old. The film is so thrilling and this song is PERFECT 🤩
“I found god in a body bag”❤️❤️ is such a deep verse. Much love Brotha😇
That's a line dedicated to eyedea. Rip Mikey
@@acidtone6137 I thought it was about his father what makes you say it's Mikey?
@@yurtcobain7152 mans pulled that idea outta his ass, I doubt it's about his father either. It's definitely got more to do with his already morbid relationship with religious figures given his discography is littered with fantastic biblical references and various polytheistic bedded concepts. Year old comment but idc haha, felt compelled to set this shit straight.
Talk to me brought new members
All new songs are just killin'
Genius
just watched talk to me and after watching i needed to know the artist its soooo good and im mostly a metal head lmao, love the music!
I'm really feeling this artist
