Most underrated emcee in the game for the past 10 plus years. I can't even get anyone to hear how good it is. I'm like damn...what the hell else does this man have to do to impress. My one rap friend told me that his "flows are off" or something along those lines. It's bs though, because holy shit Sadistik has flows for days. As a "day one" listener since The Balancing Act, I couldn't have said it better myself. I have days where I run through his entire discography and listen to the growing levels of complexity in his lyrics. Haunted Gardens fucking blew my mind. I probably listen to that album twice a day.

Cody, I've been following you since The Balancing Act and you are one of my most favorite music artists among all genres I listen to (definitely the most favorite rap artist, by far). This colab with Kno is too good to be true and I have to say this album is one of the best you've ever made. I love Apple Valley the most, such a masterpiece, huge thanks for these gems!

@@beri4138 the monotone delivery is his thing. It's part of what he does. You'll be hard pressed to find a single song where he does not do this. Maybe his music just isn't for you? I for one really love the monotone because it allows me to just zone/trance out and not think too much about anything. It makes what he says sound more "matter of factly" and solid.
@@beri4138Not every piece of good music has to be full of beat changes and complex chord progressions. Simplicity has its place. I love fast paced dynamic music as well, but music like this brings me down to earth, where I need to be.

Don't know much about Sadistik but I'm more than familiar with Kno... Since 2001, he's been dropping brilliant beats and from 2005 with the release of A Piece of Strange he's definitely cemented his place amongst the producer elite... Yes I'm saying he's up there with Madlib and The Alchemist. He has a different sound to those guys but it's still unmistakably hip hop. Top top producer right there.
Heck yeah. I put him next to Stoupe from JMT. Producers under the radar but still with a massive collection of dope beats and collabos.
