This track really made me realize how slow the karts REALLY are considering that they're based on go-karts in real life. Especially considering that the track is based off the real-life Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania designed specifically for Stock Car racing (or NASCAR) which as obviously much faster than go-karts.
Yeah. Usually the slowness of the karts isn't apparent because the tracks are designed such that it "feels" fast, with curves coming in quick succession.
This is mind blowing! Mods need more ports of tracks from different games. Especially this one, which works so well! Can you get some tracks from the Batman 2013 Arcade game?
This is extremely impressive! any plans on modding the whole Daytona USA 2001 cast of tracks? also, if i may add some flavor to it as a suggestion to add more of the "fast" part of the game, add some speed boosts on the turns if there's no wonky collision error or problem with assets onto the map? Unless you need to draw the whole map over again.... other than that Genuinely Outstanding work!

Why does this work so well with the Double Dash art style?
It takes around 20 seconds to do a lap in Daytona but 40 seconds to a minute in Mario Kart. Now imagine trying to do a lap in the Nurburgring.
I would love to see something similar brought over like a track from SEGA rally championship
