I love that museum. It puts you right there, in time, instead of just displaying a few objects from that time. My first camera was a Kodak 110. The slim one you said you had. My parents owned a 1950’s Brownie. All the pics were black and white. Fantastic video, Pip👍😊💕👏
Well done teacher Pip.... am sure the kids all straightened up and listened for fear of being caned. I grew up in a church that required all females to wear a hat. My mom would take me to Margaret's Millinery to buy a new winter or summer hat. I actually jumped when you opened the outhouse door.. ha Mmmmm.. Pontefract cakes. My dad always bought them.. so good. I loved every second of this... thanks!!! 💕
I jumped too when I opened that door. 😆 I'm glad you enjoyed the vlog so much. I can't imagine wearing a hat at school all day. The tie was bad enough.
I remember those desks from when I was in my younger years. The girl who sat in front of me annoyed me so much by flicking her long blonde pigtails across my face. I got so p'd off at her, that I dunked her one pigtail into my ink well. Her name was Brenda Bergman.. after almost 60 years, my neck hairs still go up when I think of her. 🤣
I think we are trying to go back to make do and mend with all the repair cafes currently in local communities. I have used one a couple of times, but sadly the success rate hasn't been very good since far, I've yet to get a repair!

Hi Pippa great museum😊🥰
Thanks. I loved every minute of it!
Lifebuoy was apparently my soap of choice in my childhood. I see real money. Scary I ran away from the one in Blackpool.
I haven't heard of that soap before.

Lol I like your style 😎 😉
I hadn't realised how expensive the first photos were.
No I was shocked too!!
Random twinning again - I was talking about the Ludites in a vlog I still need to edit and get up tomorrow.
We really do twin a lot and it's never a llanned thing lol.

I have a keyboard I would love to have fixed. Its middle c is broken... kind of a vital key 😆
Lighting in the office wouldn't be any better at that time.
That's very true

Ahhh i just read up that they often put the fires out to protect other buildings, which I had not been aware of.
