A wonderful railway with equally wonderful people dedicated to it's preservation. Thank you for sharing this video with us all.

Lovely little line and hopefully to grow in length in the future if land can be secured and bridges rebuilt. I live only half hours drive away yet as parking is so limited at the site I have hesitated to go of late but your delightful video has spurred me to do so. Beautifully filmed as usual.

Parking is plentiful at Woody Bay except for gala events, when there is a free park and ride bus service from Blackmoor, so do try to visit whenever you can...

Thanks for watching 😄 It's well worth a visit if you can and, as Martyn said, there's plenty of parking at Woody Bay on non-gala days 👍

Superb footage, thanks (along with state of the art wind noise suppression). Also I much appreciate the contextual shots as that's how I view the world when watching trains, studying the details of the landscape around me while waiting for the action.
It's satisfying to contemplate that, over the coming years, the 'Alan Keef assembled Lyn' will develop the patina and 'authenticity' of the 'Baldwin Lyn' and one day outstay its much missed ancestor in terms of life spent on the line.

Absolutely gorgeous scenery! Tank engines baffle me. I understand water is carried (though very limited) in the "tanks" alongside the boiler but where is coal stored? I just can't figure it out! They would seem to have a very short range.

Some have bunkers on the back, even if they're tiny. And some have coal baskets, with are usually placed on the fireman's side of the firebox either in the cab, or on TR engines, outside the cab

Thanks for watching, Terry 😄 I would offer an explanation, but it looks like SteamLance has beaten me to it, haha!
