@@patexi1289 It was definitely emulator, since it kept crashing and showed an error message which *only* appears on emulator. But I got the impression Saruei was trying to pretend it was real hardware, possibly since she is afraid of getting in trouble for emulation. (I'm pretty sure emulation is technically against the rules, but the rule is never enforced, so we can reasonably question if it really counts as a rule.) Saruei's mods also seem to know it was emulator, and were really evasive about this topic during the stream. Not a huge deal, but kind of weird and off-putting. Did Saruei ever admit she was using an emulator for mgs4?
@Megaritz it's actually perfectly legal to emulate a game you own, and she's said multiple times she owns the game physically. The illegal part is sharing/uploading the game for emulation. Same thing with Twitch TOS, it's allowed if it's a game you're allowed to play (ie a game you own physically)
Nowadays it's not as hated like before- not unlike mgs5 which has many Many fans miffed. Way back then people had different ideas of how they envisioned the game would play/end(I couldn't say what exactly though)and the reviews were abit mixed. Although there was a number of folks who called 4 all kinds of bad and dogpiled on it, eventually they started to dwindle down. Personally I loved the game to bits. Even if there's a few things I wasn't a particular fan of(Looking at you rosemary)it doesn't change the fact how much this series truly means to me.
I'm pretty sure a large portion of the hate came from the cinematics. The joke was always that it wasn't a game, its a movie. It's an 18.5 hour game on average, and has just under 8 hours of cutscenes. A lot of people just don't like that, which is fair enough.
Seeing Snake this old hurts me emotionally
Finally... My favorite MGS!
Hearing an anime girl/Real GIrl say "Gun ASMR is the best thing ever" makes me so happy inside
MGS 4 my beloved.
9:15 Stream Start 👍
Imagine a Saruei Nikke collab (with the Saruei from the starting soon screen)
Why Old Granny Saruei still hot?
She gives of a nice mentor vibe.

@@Megaritz"off-putting." Really? Who the fuck cares? You work for Sony?

I never actually played the fourth one. Can someone explain why is it hated on the internet? Seams like normal MG game.

Nah, this game has no haters, this, MGS5 and Rising are masterpieces

The disappointment for some was the whole "control the character for 1-4 minutes and then watch a 5-15 minute cutscene" thing.
