Straight talking Presidential candidate Mohammed Abduba Dida blames Kenyans for choosing unwisely

- He stole the show during the 2013 presidential debate. Mwalimu Mohammed Abduba Dida is back and in his characteristic style he has hit the ground running Literary. He says he wants to be president and this could be the most realistic stab to the most powerful office in the country.
He may not have won the election back then but he definitely touched the hearts of many and as Ken Mijungu reports Diba is once again telling it like it is.

What a man. Only thing I can't understand is why he has to wait up until 3 months to the election to make himself relevant
jeffrey mbugua He was asked this question in a recent interview. He replied that he was following the law which stipulates the campaign period as 3 months before the elections.
Well his political approach is predominantly centered upon speaking out regarding social ills. I'm pretty sure he could have found a way to do this for the past 5 years without endorsing his presidential campaign. Candidature and social strife are two mutually exclusive things.
jeffrey mbugua That's true, good point. I wonder if it's lack of resources to "make himself heard" or "relevant" for five whole years. He does, after all, seem keen to maintain his independent stance.
I really don't know man. Cause on the one hand you're right, he doesn't have the resources to compete with the political top brass but on the other hand he has 'misused' a platform as simple to use as twitter. All I see is retweets, nothing original that reflects the ideas he's been putting forth of late. I guess he's just a man with ideas, rather than a politician who's knowledgeable on how to gather a following. Maybe a political advisor would be in order.
jeffrey mbugua There is need for a charismatic and transformative leader who can dissuade people from voting on tribal lines, a process that would take more than just 3 months, as you pointed out. I don't think this is the man who fits the frame anyway.
