Been playing since launch, Me and my playgroup really love the changes, it makes the game a little more forgiving. Just because a game has very competitive aspects, it doesn't mean that the gameplay should push you to play competitively
if you want to adapt against enemies or whatever then go to world tour or competetive, its fucking awful to always have a random on your team that spends 20 seconds doing nothing, is the last one alive and only when youre about to respawn decides to run in 1v6 and die so you have to wait twice as long to respawn, quick cash is supposed to be casual not a stress inducing game where you get fucked over by not playing in a trio
It's casual definitely but the chaos of its current form makes it distinctly un-fun. These changes were made without any real reason or desire for them.
@@DoodleMan149 Yeah I find this far more fun and if I want practice I do non ranked world tour which is training for ranked. This one is a mode to hop in and have fun experimenting. If you find it pointless you'd have hated arena fpses back in the day which were always utter chaos.
I agree so much, doing the work to wipe a team just for them to be back in 5 to 10 sec is crazy. I know you and your team also could be back in 5 sec to the cashout station but i just think that a revert of this would be amazing. Also the switching between classes in between a match is just not good.
Yeah, changing classes mid match just feels like a way to cheese out a win, I oftentimes see full light teams go full heavy for that last second steal, just rushing the objective not even caring about the other teams, placing down triple dome shield plus mesh, steal, get killed and then go back to light
From what I've seen, most people enjoy the changes. If this is all that big a problem to you go play world tour or ranked. These changes give quick cash its own chaotic and goofy identity which I think was needed to differentiate it from the other two cash in game modes.
As I said in the video, there's not always time for a full World Tour. Not every gaming session has the time for 3 consecutive matches so Quick Cash was always a nice filler mode until now. They should just bring back the single Cashout mode again at this rate.
I would much rather have kept team wiping/respawn times the way they were, and if anything had to change it could have been loadout switching like it was in powershift. But to be completely honest I liked how the Reserve loadout system worked in quickcash- only being able to bring a certain amount of items made you think about your kit, and you couldn't just switch to whatever you wanted mid-match to completely counter another team's build.
My thoughts exactly. They turned Quick Cash from a mode you had to do the smallest bit of planning in into a mode that literally takes no thought at all
Nice video. I played the finals since season 1, and every season since. I almost have 1,000 hours in the game (get I life I know 😂). And here’s my thoughts. Personally the wave respawn is an awesome feature. And quick cash was in my opinion the best way to get “the finals experience” in a casual package. And I think these changes are healthy for the game. Since it’s not a ranked mode I see nothing wrong with allowing a team to instantly come back if wiped. Also the finals was always marketed as very chaotic, fast paced, and action packed, and before these changes, team wiping both teams and knowing they can’t come back for a certain period of time on the last Cashout always felt… uneventful(in quick cash at least) …and allowing teams to come back faster is better for the team that gets wiped as they have an opportunity to keep the game going by getting last second steal rush (which is why we love the finals) and it’s beneficial for the team defending since that team will always be on their toes. In my opinion it smoothens the gameplay loop, and makes it more engaging with less down down time in free cam or spectating your teammate. Lemme tell you I find myself having more fun in quick cash now, knowing I can drop 20+ bombs or try something new, and this is coming from a “seasoned” vet in the finals. And I say let ppl try out the classes/gadgets/and specializations penalty free. This is great for finding what is most fun for you, the player; to use when you really want to “turn your brain off and play video games”. Now back to what you said about power shift and bank it being more casual I can agree, however it’s not “the finals experience” that most people are captivated by when they think of “The Finals” and to add on, from my experience in power shift, players go for kills or only snipe away from the platform (which takes away the “objective” focus of playing power shift for both sides since now you have ppl who aren’t playing objective to go for kills instead which messes up your experience overall as a team) and as for bank it, most games finish wayyyy before the timer ends. Maybe this is just my perspective but it feels like more people play the objective of depositing their coins in bank it compared to power shift. And having a bank it game end quickly never feels “rewarding”. And lastly, world tour can be casual, but is also not super competitive. Yes in the T500 lobbies of WT it’s definitely a sweat fest , but there’s no T500 leaderboards for Cashout as far as I’m concerned. And I’ve never seen quick cash as a warmup for ranked. (And this is coming from a ranked player) As ranked tournaments were always less forgiving by adding limited tokens, team wipe penalty’s, and timer resets upon team wipe, plus the addition of the bracket system which is climbed per game. Which is why I feel that world tour is the best all around casually-competitive game mode, depending on what you are looking for in the game. You can have fun, climb the leaderboards with the best of the best, or you can use it as a warm up for ranked, as it’s the most similar format, minus the 10% cash loss on team wipe penalty. So without being rude I’m gonna have to disagree with you on this one. Quick cash doesn’t feel like team death match as the objective and how you win the game is still first to 20k, you just have less down time now, making it feel like it’s more TDM’ish maybe?. The ranked tournament mode is more fundamentally flawed in its competitive nature, as a popular meme once stated “I don’t care if orange wins I just need purple to lose”… along with the plug meta, and potentially the 2 teams in 1st and 2nd teaming to prevent either team below them to qualify. The ranked mode could use some love, and could be reworked to also add elements of smoother gameplay, and more rewarding gameplay for every team in the lobby. And rewarding is the vocabulary term I would use for quick cash this season, as it’s still chaotic, fast paced, and gives the player that rush that we all know and love from the finals. But that’s the great thing about opinions I can discuss why I disagree without insulting your views, and I think that’s awesome. So keep up the content man. Just wanted to express my opinions from what I gathered from the video. 👍🏽🫡. Oh and I could say that for many new players, quick cash is usually what they’ll play first. So I’d say fun over “strategic play” is preferred since this game already has a very high skill ceiling.
I appreciate the well thought out and polite disagreement with my point, but, in an equally non offensive way, I won't be addressing everything you said because it's just way too long and I'm mid way through my work day lol However, I will disagree on these new changes still giving the definitive Finals experience though as it feels like it dumbs down the game and doesn't exactly reward wiping a team nor does it punish those who play poorly. It just makes it a mess. And Power Shift is the perfect place to test out guns as there's a wide variety of ranges to explore and, generally, a centralized objective to fight around so you're never searching for a fight.
Opinions like these need to stay in the ranked playlist big dawg. Longer respawns punish the newer players, and if they’re not having fun actually getting to play the game, they quit. They should get opportunities to push, die, and learn, without being punished for it. New players are the future of this game, so it’s best we keep casual modes fun and accessible.
I think dumbing down the mode to make it more accessible is insulting to the intelligence and abilities of the new players. Doubt they'll get better if they don't have any challenges to learn from.
@ It ain’t about getting better, it’s about enjoying the game. Our new players are awful, utterly wipeable, and actively receive punishment from our veteran players, so they should have every opportunity to respawn and try again, because that’s an opportunity to learn and grow. Also, longer team wipes mean reduced intensity, fights are spaced further apart, and the outcomes of each fight are too predictable. That’s boring.
Dude shut your whiney ass up, new players can play the fucking tutorial and payload to learn, quick cash is quite literally perfect how it was when you get a team wipe your reset prepare to defend if you get wiped you rethink your strategy and playstyle, you don’t need to have access to your entire kit and switches classes all Willy nilly. And op make a terrific point this is a warmup mode for world tour if the world tour rules stay the same you lock in a class and gadgets and work with what you have for 4 rounds of intense traditional cash out rules why would I want to wake up in a sandbox mode where if I outplay someone they just switch their entire kit to something that counters me and my team? Sometimes you get automatically countered in a game you know what you do you change your playstyle you learn and adapt you don’t sit and complain.
The only thing I would change is that I would add 15 seconds to the timer if you wipe, or add 10 seconds every time someone dies. I feel swapping is fine
I gotta agree as I've found myself to not care if I die at some points knowing that I'll respawn in the next 5 seconds with my teammates because they already died. It is A LOT more fighting now, but It's not making it as "unfun" for me as it is for you. I just agree that It would be better like you said but I got adjusted to the change, and its ok, it just feels a bit different. PowerShift is not really that "casual" or "fun" for me, so I would never use it as an alternative. I play powershift only if I have another 4 friends laying about or if I have a challange. Quick cash is the way.
There's a reason I called it Power Shit lol I'm not a fan of it either but it used to be the best way to try out weapons since you had a variety of engagement ranges and a relatively concise fighting area to test them out in. Unless I'm running out of time in the night or I only have time for a couple of matches where I pick Quick Cash, World Tour is the way for me.
I don’t really agree with removing the ability to changing loadouts If I’m having a really bad game(which is usually am, all matches are either really good or really bad), I usually want to try one of my other loadouts to see if I can at least have fun with it, preventing me from switching just encourages me to leave the match entirely or go friendly and stop trying entirely since whatever spec/class I have has proven to not be fun this match And let’s be honest, who is actually trying to adapt to the enemy team in any significant “I’m screwed over if they switch” way? I don’t really care if enemy teams switch their loadouts, this is casual cashout they can switch to whatever for their fun It’s ultimately more fun if people can just switch their loadout to something more fun, otherwise it’s better to quit which you can’t/shouldn’t do in ranked modes
That was called Cashout and they had it in S1 (and 2 I believe), it was a single round of a tournament. Guess ya a never know what you had until it was gone lol
2:12 I disagree to this point of view quick Cash is more like Team Deathmatch fun quick round and the world tour is the training for the ranked because you do not get deranked from it even if you lose
@DoodleMan149 I believe what makes the game stand out is the lack of opportunity to camp that is struck the ball environment the fun aesthetic the small number of players on a small map where you know what the hell is going on and almost nothing in it is over the top as the aesthetically and I do logically it's balanced weapons and loadouts are getting their soon enough they're improving every time cheaters only the other hand are something scary
The changes were good, it feels more like a casual jump in and press buttons mode now, no WT lite with team mates who won't revive and won't respect that if there's only a few seconds left for you to respawn they won't just run in and die..
I agree that the new team wipe timers being almost non existent can be a little annoying, but they are only annoying because oftentimes the wiped team respawns way too close to you and said wiped team goes for you while the third team caps without anyone contesting the objective. I think this could be easily fixed by respawning said team more than 100m away from the team that wiped them or bringing back the old team wipe respawn timer. Although, imo, the most annoying part of the new changes is being able to switch classes mid match, I'll oftentimes see teams of 3 lights go 3 heavies whenever they need to steal but get wiped, and good luck stopping 3 shields and 1050 hp from stealing, especially once all of your abilities have been used up. All the other changes are good imo, wave respawns and access to all weapons, specializations and gadgets.
I hadn't even considered the class swapping to tank steal and Obj before switching back to other classes for regular fighting, I bet that would be quite annoying. I'm also okay with the weapon and gadget swapping and agree the respawns should reset on wipes.
I only just joined into the finals and now upon hearing how it used to be, yeah, the team wipe penalty being removed is kind of bad :/ sucks to kill one team fully, only for them to come back again and stealing everything
I defiently don’t like that you can change your special and class mid game but you’ve gotta realize. That this has stopped so many people from leaving the game cause they hate there load out. I’m with you on the new wave respawning tho. That’s kinda bs
I hear you about people leaving but spots that open up usually get filled pretty quickly, at least in my area, and Power Shift already has that option. Of people can't deal with their choices then that should be the mode they go to. Especially now with how it currently is, no one focuses on the Obj anyway lol
@@DoodleMan149 Power shift just isn't as fun and cash-out is the staple of the game. Also considering the queue times, powershift would take way too long. If it takes 5-10 minutes to queue a game new players will leave. Nobody focuses on the objective because it's casual and that's okay. If cash out were to become less casual The Finals wouldn't have a good gamemode catered towards casual players. Decisions have to be made for that consider the needs of the entire playerbase.
It used to be less casual and it seemed to be doing just fine. We'll see in the long run but the best choice at this point would be bring back the single Cashout mode and keep Quick Cash as it is thrn
Gotta disagree, I don't see it as a problem if quick cash is a chaotic and "for dummies", this game has a lot of possible combos of weapons, gadgets and specializations and it's good to let a new player test everything at will. I don't see it as an insult to their intelligence or anything like that, there's a lot of things to learn as you play this game and it's really unfun for a beginner to play against a veteran and it's nice to have a gamemode that doesn't punish them as much. The solution for that is just bring back the single round cashout mode, so veterans without time for a full tournament and beginners who are trying to improve as they already know something about the game can have their fun.
The very nature of cashout will be a bit competitive even in casual just given how it plays but yes I agree with these changes. Respawns are way to fast
I recently started playing again since launch and I forgot how it was back then so when I hopped on I thought that was normal. After seeing this video I agree 100% very well made video -change
the specialization swap is not bad, I mean you're playing quick cash casually anyways. But the timer thing is bs. The opponent team will respawn to attack our ass after 5 seconds.
Disagreeing on some points. This mode should be looked at as a way to try different things with your loadouts. It's okay to be able to switch your loadouts midgame. Its okay to have fast respawns. It's casual. When you want to grind, there is World Tour, and when you want to grind hard, there is Ranked. However, we could be locked in the class we choose at the beginning but to be honest i don't really care about that. For the first one killed starting the respawn countdown, there could be a minimum of x seconds before anyone respawns. So if the countdown is at 5 secondes, and x>5s, then you would still have to wait but maybe not a whole 30s. When you get killed, you can quickly realise why it happened, no need to wait 30s.
@@arsenoo16 That's exactly why I said I think weapon and gadget loadouts, not specializations, should remain swappable along with the quick respawns except for team wipes. We're almost o the exact same page lol
i really haven't noticed any difference in qc the whole respawn thing is ok tbh if they do away with that they should get rid of the unlimited respawn coins to, as for the weapons let people experiment with all the weapons, being only limited to wat you bring in just doesn't feel right sometimes i wanna use mines or use a sword, ik people might hate me for this but its just casual at the end of the day you gain nothing from it really but xp
As I said in the video, keep the swapping, just not the specializations or classes and team wipes still need to matter otherwise what's even the point of doing it?
Bank It isn't TDM, I win most of my Bank It games by playing objective first and kills last. I used to dominate ot without even playing with my team, opting instead to find vaults and routes that the lobby was neglecting. Light dash players are really experiencing a different game.
I think Ranked still has that and World Tour was the only other mode to do that. Unless you include Bank It but I don't. Quick Cash never had the money loss on wipe.
Excellent question since I've yet to figure out how to make any video go viral lol All I can recommend is the usual Like and Share with your friends or social media people 🤣 Fingers crossed Embark sees this though 🤞😁
“Change” Definitely needs to be changed, played for the first time this Season and was like wtf that player was light at the start of the match and the relentless waves of players on the point makes it almost impossible to defend the point
Yup, lots of times it ends up being you wiping a team. Fighting the second team, both getting whittled down and since the first team is back in 5 seconds they jump right in to hard third party and get the box
Honestly at this point, yeah. Quick Cash shouldn't have to suffer just to cater to a super small group of people who want TDM in this game. They should just play Bank It honestly
I disagree. I think Quickcash is just casual and chaotic. Simulating like the worst scenarios possible in a Ranked game. No one should play Quickcash to win but to practice
It pretty much ruins the integrity of the mode. It's no longer about securing the boxes and defending/attacking cashouts, now it's just about constantly fighting. At least World Tour and Ranked remain unchanged 🤞
ngl quickcash is fine if i want what you describe i play worldtour but yeah teamwipes should be minimum 10-15 secs like whats the point of quickcash if its just worldtour light with no rewards regarding powershift its such a odd mode the new quick cash is more fun its somewhat objective based so there is predictability but it doesn't matter if you die too much
Not always time for a full World Tour and I've yet to see any team actually focus on the Obj since these changes. Not like anyone has time to steal with the rapid and close respawns anyway lol
I dont mind countering and getting countered all the time. But no team wipes makes defending the point pointless.
Yup, fighting for a few minutes straight just for the enemy team to respawn in 5 seconds feels bad every time.
There's also almost no time for you to steal a cashout after a wipe if another team is alive
@sifon5495 Yup, especially with how comically close some of the spawns are lol

That was called Cashout and they had it in S1 (and 2 I believe), it was a single round of a tournament. Guess ya a never know what you had until it was gone lol
@ fr, I forgot about it you have a very valid argument and it is important to care about casual modes because of how much they effect the games health
2:12 I disagree to this point of view quick Cash is more like Team Deathmatch fun quick round and the world tour is the training for the ranked because you do not get deranked from it even if you lose
@@homeless5019 Luckily, for most of the game's life cycle, there hasn't been a TDM mode and that's been a great way for the game to stand out.
Also Wecker aus der quick reflexes taking action quickly a growing the algorithm in your head to every action and reaction
The changes were good, it feels more like a casual jump in and press buttons mode now, no WT lite with team mates who won't revive and won't respect that if there's only a few seconds left for you to respawn they won't just run in and die..
So it's just so the dumb players aren't more of a detriment?
The changes were good , only thing i dont like is you can change class , specialisation etc ingame . Not a fan of that
Makes it almost impossible to learn how to counter you opponents when they can change everything all at once mid match
@@DoodleMan149 yes that's another good point . u get the basics but idk if new player like this quick cash style
I don't see how they could. If you can't really learn the game then interest may fall off.
The game was better 6 months ago. Even better 1 year ago
I partially agree in that it was less complicated lol
1:44 that grenade tho
@@tito1664 Yeah definitely not the best throw lol At least I wiped them off the box regardless
I only just joined into the finals
and now upon hearing how it used to be, yeah, the team wipe penalty being removed is kind of bad :/
sucks to kill one team fully, only for them to come back again and stealing everything
Exactly, I know you're new to it, but honestly, of you want the premiere Finals experience I highly recommend World Tour if you've got the time! 😁👍
Would love to
Too bad the only time I played, I made it to the finals with dual blades and my team mate begged me to switch to a gun
.
We lost quickly
@mistyLmistake Gotta give it more than one chance lol The quality of randoms you get is very hit or miss 😂
True that, will definitely once I am more confident in my dual blade gameplay
@mistyLmistake Well, if you want, feel free to squad up with me whenever, I can drop you my Embark ID # when I get on later
Mom it should get split into two different modes,
new cashout
and,
ye old cashout
Bringing back the singular Cashout mode would be the best way to mitigate these changes if they won't get reverted.
That's the best solution, however unlikely it may end up being.
The very nature of cashout will be a bit competitive even in casual just given how it plays but yes I agree with these changes. Respawns are way to fast
Agree with the current style of Quick Cash changes or the ones I suggested to fix it? 🤔
I recently started playing again since launch and I forgot how it was back then so when I hopped on I thought that was normal. After seeing this video I agree 100% very well made video
-change
In squidward voice: spare change, spare change ma’am
They changed it to everyone's detriment it seems lol
the specialization swap is not bad, I mean you're playing quick cash casually anyways. But the timer thing is bs. The opponent team will respawn to attack our ass after 5 seconds.
Makes stealing or recovering from defense real hard or just allows for a super easy third party by the other teams
Quick Cash peaked in Season 4. I agree that the majority of the Season 5 changes were bad for the mode.
The entire premises of the changes is so that quick cash would not be competitive
Not competitive =/= brainless, endless fights
i really haven't noticed any difference in qc the whole respawn thing is ok tbh if they do away with that they should get rid of the unlimited respawn coins to, as for the weapons let people experiment with all the weapons, being only limited to wat you bring in just doesn't feel right sometimes i wanna use mines or use a sword, ik people might hate me for this but its just casual at the end of the day you gain nothing from it really but xp
They sure are
I miss making a team wipe and the enemy losing money
I think Ranked still has that and World Tour was the only other mode to do that. Unless you include Bank It but I don't. Quick Cash never had the money loss on wipe.
@DoodleMan149 need to test ranked then
How do we make this video go viral for embark to see?
Excellent question since I've yet to figure out how to make any video go viral lol All I can recommend is the usual Like and Share with your friends or social media people 🤣
Fingers crossed Embark sees this though 🤞😁
“Change” Definitely needs to be changed, played for the first time this Season and was like wtf that player was light at the start of the match and the relentless waves of players on the point makes it almost impossible to defend the point
@@Zeintor Like I said, basically TDM nonsense in a game that is anything but
Respawns are all messed up, you get no reward for wiping teams, its just a sh*t show and super arbitrary who ends up with the cashout
Yup, lots of times it ends up being you wiping a team. Fighting the second team, both getting whittled down and since the first team is back in 5 seconds they jump right in to hard third party and get the box
i think its best how it is. way more pace and perfect for a warmup match before goin ranked. i call it shitmode, it just doesnt matter :D
Doesn't matter for ranked, no, but matters in that it got significantly dumbed down to chase an audience that won't play the game anyway.
they need to revert it and just add tdm for the ones that dont care about defending
Honestly at this point, yeah. Quick Cash shouldn't have to suffer just to cater to a super small group of people who want TDM in this game. They should just play Bank It honestly
TDM will be just light infested boring trash btw. Same as Bank it.
Which is why the TDM wanters should just do to Bank It lol
How did you get that hipfire circle up there
You can edit your reticle in the settings, I just like the circle personally 😁👍
They just need to make it last longer best to $40000 or more imo
Would be nice but might make the matches last too long for it to still be Quick Cash lol
I disagree. I think Quickcash is just casual and chaotic. Simulating like the worst scenarios possible in a Ranked game. No one should play Quickcash to win but to practice
@@r0yalr0sePT But that's my point, what exactly is being practiced if it's nothing like the things one is practicing for?
@ it is being practice steals and defends in third partys scenarios all the time right. So yeah its being practice the worst scenario in a Tournment
@ and its good to be able to change loadouts and guns too. With one game you can find your best team comp, or your own loadout
Well, as I said, loadout changes are fine, just not classes and specs.
@@DoodleMan149 i understand. I just like it how it is for a warmup with your 3stack
I haven't played for months, but even I can tell the rule changes are silly. Especially the respawn timer change
It pretty much ruins the integrity of the mode. It's no longer about securing the boxes and defending/attacking cashouts, now it's just about constantly fighting. At least World Tour and Ranked remain unchanged 🤞
Hard agree
The comments seem to be an even split down the middle lol
ngl quickcash is fine if i want what you describe i play worldtour but yeah teamwipes should be minimum 10-15 secs
like whats the point of quickcash if its just worldtour light with no rewards
regarding powershift its such a odd mode the new quick cash is more fun its somewhat objective based so there is predictability but it doesn't matter if you die too much
Not always time for a full World Tour and I've yet to see any team actually focus on the Obj since these changes. Not like anyone has time to steal with the rapid and close respawns anyway lol
Change
Much appreciated 😉
Power shit lol
No need for me to sugar coat it lol
So just play world tournaments, I don't see how is this a problem
As I said in the video, there's not always time for a full World Tour. Sometimes there's only enough time left for a Quick Cash or two
