It's a Sin is going to launch the careers of so many new actors. The guys who played Ash, Colin and Roscoe were amazing and of course Ritchie and Jill. Binged it from start to finish and already considering watching it again.
I adore Russell's writing, I grew up watching Doctor who in 2005 to around 2011 and I always took so much comfort from watching it, and even now at 29 it is still my safe place. He's one of the only writers who manages to move me to tears easily and this was absolutely no exception, binged the lot in two nights and I laughed, cried, was shocked... it was such a rollercoaster... loved every second.
It was great, except for the parts where I felt like it was being hit in the heart with a sledgehammer. I think I spent more time crying then watching the show.
I'm so glad Olly and everyone working on the show are being a part of that much important thing. I'm so thankful for everyone spreading awareness about HIV and AIDS. It can affect ANYONE, and people nowadays CANNOT forget how it started and how it's still a beyond serious issue. Thank you

Russell T. Davies is simply the best. It is truly heartbreaking to watch and realise that this type of story wasn't fiction for so many men for so many years. The reason why I will always consider Reagan and Thatcher complete and utter pieces of shite is because of the way they completely ignored this crisis, it infuriates me.

In my school we had a club that you can join that's like a safe space for LGBT+ people. Though generally there is no formal education - but we did get taught about STDs and contraception. So many students were publicly gay though and generally it was a positive environment. It felt like everyone already knew everything or was gay, so I feel like if there was LGBT education then it would have to be for younger years like middle school
I'm from the UK and we were never taught about anything other than heterosexuality & that was only briefly explained from a reproductive aspect. Anything else you learnt through talking to your friends, tv and magazines.
The question was about the sex education Olly had in his real life. So in his education gay sex was never discussed let alone taught. That's the point Olly was making.
I really felt for kids of this era. That they could let there family know, educate them. By watching this tv show, would help the parents understand. But with the amount of sex in it . Witch kid could watch this with his family.

I don’t like making fun of ppl but can the interviewer just sneeze. Her voice sounds like her nose is clogged or someone is holding her nose. Unless if she is sick which is understandable but go to sleep not work, though I wouldn’t go out work for being sick if my job has Olly in it 😍
I thought she was doing a bit when I first heard her speak. That she was pretending to be a cartoon character. Her voice is so terrible, she shouldn’t be a presenter. You can’t be a singer or a presenter with an awful voice.
Back in the 90's, it must have been very hard to come out. I remember 2 lads in my school who were clearly gay having to put up with being called Bandits etc. Its probably a lot better now, but I expect there's still prejudice about.

Uh? Olly was great, I think you didn't like the writing of his character which the character is irritating in the fact that he denies Aids and also is a tory. RTD wrote these characters as versions of people he knew around that time. The La thing is also RTD's trick to show a friend groups connection. I actually thought it was cute.

It was the Tory government of the day who launched the biggest media campaign in history at that time to educate the public about HIV and AiDS when other countries were still in denial. Who set up the first HIV and AIDs clinics. Learn some facts. The La thing did get old quickly and was obviously put in in the hope that all the gays up and down the country would mimic it. Like a gay version of wassup.
