Good review. I also have GO 3S and Action 4. The GO 3S is my casual, everyday, bodycam, and stealth camera, but for vacation, the Action 4.

Live the videos! Is it true that the Go 3s shoots only horizontal only when it is in the horizontal orientation? So if I have it in vertical orientation I can’t shoot horizontal?

Considering the size and the versatility, maybe the DJI Action 2 is the competitor to the GO3s?

Action 4 is a great camera but they have a lot more to tweak that bigger sensor for low light shooting. But honestly, the GO 3s is pretty good for a tiny thing, like physical lens. The GO series was never designed to take over flagship cameras and why it's a great "addition" to your gear bag for those kinds of shots you can't get from a traditional action camera. Why I don't think it's a fair comparison, different class of cameras. Also, you said the GO 3s was better at low light out of the camera then switched to it's not because through post, A4 is better. Let's not forget that a lot of the target audience have zero post grading/edit skills and why this 'class' of camera is useful. This camera is not for everyone, but it does fill in gaps that traditional/flagship cameras don't ;)
