- Yeah, different from normal I know. But I don’t have any new animations at the moment and y’all already know ships and maritime history is my secret hobby, so here’s this wonderful video.
Also, I must come clean that I am the creator of the 16 stacked Titanic image here. I contributed to the cursed collection. I apologize 🙏🙏
I cant believe a video that took me 10 seconds to make got almost 2,000,000 views and 2,000 comments but my art that I slave away for days making gets like 300 views and 3 comments one of which is always me.
I'm not going to lie, modern ships looks like big giant floating bathtubs now. I like those old classic ocean liners with the funnels and all that.

Queen Mary 2 looks amazing. It doesn’t have steam stacks but it’s a true ocean liner

Cruise ships today are more meant for functionality rather than style, it’s about the luxury and stuff on board, not the about the look of the ship itself.

The thing that unsettles me is that some of these cave sounds is what the inside of the ship would have sounded like as it was sinking kinda.

@@mrdardon3463 either that or when the stern imploded after it had slipped fully under, with all that air still trapped in her stern as it went under and the rapidly increasing preasure as water continued to leak into air pockets as it sank deeper, the air had to go somewhere, so it came out the only way it could, by blasting through the poop deck and causing the stern to pretty much tear itself apart as it spiralled out of control towards the ocean floor until it slammed down and collapsed partly onto itself...

@jeeax8178 Most likely not, iirc the pool was close to the bow. And if the watertight doors were there, it wouldn't have opened until the hydraulic pressure hit the ship once it hit the seabed, or the PSI did just before that.

That just gives me an eerie feeling, not because of how giant it is or megalophobia, just because that thing is a goddamn TWIG. Whole the original titanic snapping was unexpected, this thing would be like grandpa’s back, also you can only go in a straight line with that thing cause turning at all would mean death, also if this thing sank it would probably not go vertical because of how heavy it is (it probably would just sink regardless) but if that thing went vertical the sea ain’t recovering from that debri.

Image 2 was a drawing drawn by somebody who was asking for a description of the sinking. The survivor describing it even said this drawing was wrong to begin with, but people ran with this belief because after a few cycles people begin to believe what they read.
I thought it was drawn by Titanic survivor Jack Thayer, atleast my copy of I survived "5 real survivors" edition said that.

The bow was much heavier than the stern, it always was, so it would be physically impossible for something like a V-Break to happen. It was hydraulic pressure that moved the back part of the bow downwards, and an implosion that took away most of the Stern's infastructure.

Tho i don't believe that people were in the pools when they ship sank they could have easily been swept into one as it sank. Imagine if someone with a submarine went down there (did not implode) and launched a underwater go pro camera inside the pools and are meet with skeleton face hidden within the deep dirt waters of the ocean inside the pool rooms

Fun fact. Every single painting of the titanic with smoke coming from all four stacks is cursed. The last one was fake to make the ship look more powerful. However, The last smoke stack wasn’t useless, as it was used as ventilation for the lower decks
