This song can have so many different meanings, makes me cry listening to it. Especially knowing how hard his drug addiction was😢.. Hes like that little boy that wanted love so badly. Everybody deserves to be loved, especially a little boy wanting love from his dad.
@@lesweizman388 Bernie actually lived in Reg's (Elton's) mother's house for a long time before they came to America and Elton played the Troubadour. They were like brothers according to Elton.
I think my reasoning to this song is the same as yours when are you gonna come down makes me feel so sad but such a great song makes you realise where you are at in life 👍
This is not the full official recording of Elton's performance of goodbye yellow brick road at Dodger stadium 1975. The audio is an audience recording from Elton's performance in San Diego, September 29th, 1975. However there's a little bit of video of Elton performing goodbye yellow brick road at dodger stadium 1975, and somehow it sounds very identical so there's a slight possibility that the recording may be from dodger stadium but Emma Hercules confirmed it's not. So I grabbed a few clips from Elton John's performance of bennie and the jets at dodger stadium and put them here to make it seem like there's a full recording of this song. Hopefully one day we will live to see the full show.
@@hadleyjandreauvlogsandgami9604 on/off for years. The cocaine surprisingly didn’t destroy his voice, but it was the pot. He switched to smoking pot in 1986. He ruined his voice. I believe he even mentioned in his interviews that it was pot that ruined it
You did a fantastic job of this and I've added it to my Music playlist. I'll be watching/listening many times over. Brings back such memories of my childhood even though I wasn't born yet in 1975. His songs are timeless. Thank you for your hard work!
It’s really awesome! I was able to watch Elton John play at dodger stadium last night on Disney plus. I watched the whole 3 hour show and I have nothing to complain
man i love this song, i did a karaoke and i sung this song back in middle school and i sounded just like him, no one could tell the difference between me singing or Elton john
Thanksss! Turns out the full video of Elton John performing this song doesn’t exist and there’s only 2 short clips of him singing this song, soo there is a video of him singing a different song and I used some of the clips from him playing a different song to make it look like more was filmed!
I imagine that is has been difficult for Elton John to sing this song over and over again. To go back to memory lane, "where the dogs of society howl". Nobody talks about the meaning of this song, but Elton John experieced the worst a child can experience. On heavens name, Why do the do this to children? What is wrong with so many man. Makes me wonder if we shouldn't cut every little willy of boys, strait after they born. Or maybe friendlier, boys will be raised in a professional way, to prevent they'll become evil. Face it, where do the most agression and destruction come from?
I don’t think so, I heard that when he played at dodger stadium in 1975: he threw his hat to the crowd. There’s a RUclips comment somewhere of someone saying that the hat was flying towards someone and someone tall grabbed it.

Si si,,,😊
La versión extendida de la grabación de la audiencia ya que Elton John cuando lanzó esa versión de pinball wizard la recortó
Yes please 🙏🏻
I just love it....and it's my favorite song....
Man, when he hits the high notes, it is spot on. Fantastic.

Legend forever 🥲
It's literally impeccable.
Elton's voice and the band here with Roger Pope on drums are amazing in 1975!
This is prime time Elton John with his best band no doubt

Wow, i'm very impressed...usually such videos only annoy me but your editing skills are spot on, thank you so much!

I just noticed at the very end it sounds like he says "Philadelphia." at 3:10.
My all memory about 20' is this song
Efffinnn.....classic! That's all there is to it! Period!
“Sniffing for Tidbits like you on the ground” falsetto is probably the best live version ive heard yet. amazing footage
Yeah he had an amazing falsetto which he said he destroyed from cocaine abuse,
@@KaBoomChannelactually was destroyed by pot use, not cocaine actually

And to think, 47 years later, he’d be playing that same song at the same stadium to close out his final American tour.

Dang, sounds like you had some experiences of your own. Or frustrating lack of same. "Let's just castrate all boys at birth."
Um, I agree, but this was actually written from Bernie Taupin's perspective.
Is he wearing the same hat when he was at Dodger Stadium in 2022?

Elton One?
La wea wena, que Temazo
Russell Harty’s camera crew did a lousy job of filming this song. They should have kept the camera on Elton more one of his best songs.
