In this video i try out my new Caswell 1.5 gallon zinc plating kit on my CR500 project . As well i try out the yellow chromate and black chromate kits.
I am glad you have good results. I have had really good luck with Caswell kit. I have been using blue chromate on mine. I then let it dry for about 48 hours.
I dig the gold look, i would like to see it even darker to be honest. It would look sick on a green KX or CR with gold rims. have gold sprockets and chain and bolts! Cool vid, i had no idea how that was done
Wow they look great! I sand blast mine and cerakote but I love that finish
Wow that caswell kit is good stuff
im definitely checking this out
Yes once you get everything dialed in, it can save you a ton of money on builds. And then there is the hardware that you just cant replace as well.
Great video, thanks
Thankyou for watching

Going to have to get some blue chromate
@@TNTMOTO I think I will get some yellow chromate as well. Some of the older bikes use it on certain parts like the spoke nipples.
@@Mr10usdad yellow and black are the most important for sure. i plan to get the blue for resto mods
