Hello Corporal! I want you to know that I’m one of your trusty supporters and I salute you every time I watch one of your videos. After a bad car accident I’m paralyzed from the waist down but my handicap are the suicide pain in my back and legs. But after what you learned me many tips and tricks how to come back to the wilderness I have been out in the Norwegian woods fishing and building shelters every weekend since the middle of March. I ride my atv into the peaceful nature and for the first time in 12 years I really live again. This weekend my son, 16 years old build our own version of bushcraft bunk bed and it was fxxxing outstanding!!!!! Thank you so much Corporal! I tear up here I’m sitting.. sorry. But you don’t know how much that means to me. You have saved my life sir. I look up to you! I served in the kings guard here in Norway and loved it, so I know a thing or two about proudly wearing a uniform with my country’s flag on my shoulder to. Not in any way comparing my service to yours, but I can see that you rightfully can look back to the time you served with pride. Thank you for your service! Don’t you dare apologize for your ‘rant’. This is my first time watching you and I totally enjoyed it. I don’t know what other people have said, but ignore them. Any military personnel, in my mind, are without reproach. My father was a paratrooper. I have respect for the men/women in the military and so should everyone else who didn’t get off their couch.
Love your videos. I remember being a Boy Scout, and practicing my woodsman skills. As a disabled person these days I want to go back out there and see what I can get done. It's hard being disabled but I refuse to get old along with it. Wish me luck

I look forward to Sunday afternoons when your RUclips arrives. This one was great with the covered fire pit, and how you extended your tarp for the gap in-between. Bush crafting has always been a love of mine and I was one of those you spoke about by way of limited exposure. I have upped my game tho, both as a survivalist & just the joy of bush crafting. The darn accident left my brain injured and I have had to relearn creative logic, and there my friend is where your videos have helped me. So thank you. Never had the skills you do. That's why I watch.I don't know where you live but you sure have the wood. I'm in Houston Texas and the problem with Texas is that it is all privately owned or at least seems. You can drive forever and everything is fenced in. My Dad flew fighter aircraft in WW II, Korea and spent 18 months in Vietnam. I did not serve. For those who did, and those that do, thank you! Your sacrifice provides the liberty I enjoy now. Something about this build that really appeals to me. The functionality mainly - getting off the ground while staying warm & dry in a rainstorm and having the openness to enjoy the surroundings is killer.

I look forward to Sunday afternoons when your RUclips arrives. This one was great with the covered fire pit, and how you extended your tarp for the gap in-between. I watch you, because unlike the others, you explain what and why you are doing a project, the how to of the knots you are using. Keep on filming and producing your videos.

Thanks CPL for your shared knowledge & your Service. I am retired now, from a car accident, and if I could I would support your channel. Bush crafting has always been a love of mine and I was one of those you spoke about by way of limited exposure. I have upped my game tho, both as a survivalist & just the joy of bush crafting. The darn accident left my brain injured and I have had to relearn creative logic, and there my friend is where your videos have helped me. So thank you. I just need to learn or relearn and up to that task.

I’m a proud RSL affiliate member, in respect of my grandfather’s Army service, the carer for my disabled son, is a former RAAF Sargent, and a true blue survivor. ANYONE who disrespects a veteran, in any way, should be ashamed!! Corporals corner, is the most reliable and trust worthy bush skills information on RUclips. And think it don’t say it, with regards anything to do with someone else’s kids…soooo off limits!! Too personal.
Even though I'm a yank, and veteran, thanks to your Grandfather and Son for their service... and for yours as well for being your son's caregiver ! Shawn, as a long time subscriber, I have appreciated all of the videos and knowledge and skills that you have shared, it has made me a better “Bushcrafter”. I have taken that knowledge and skills and shared them with my friends (giving credit where credit is due of course). As far as the rant, I personally feel that it needed to be said, and I appreciate the fact that you took the time to share it with me as well as your subscribers. Don’t let the trolls and haters occupy anymore of your headspace, your subscribers and fans will see them for who they are and always support you 150%. Of course you realize that you don't have to explain yourself. I wouldn't care if you were in the Coast guard. I'm a former enlisted Marine myself from Vietnam. 71 years old. Never had the skills you do. That's why I watch.I don't know where you live but you sure have the wood. I'm in Houston Texas and the problem with Texas is that it is all privately owned or at least seems. You can drive forever and everything is fenced in.
The thing is, the reason I watch is for your skill set. I find it amazing the way you think this stuff up. Bravo, I couldn't admire you more. I give you a thumbs up with every video. I watch you on smart TV and I can't always comment unless I switch to my phone. Semper Fi Marine. 🇨🇱

My Dad flew fighter aircraft in WW II, Korea and spent 18 months in Vietnam. I did not serve. For those who did, and those that do, thank you! Your sacrifice provides the liberty I enjoy now. So, to you, corporal, specifically thank you for your service. And, thank you for all the videos you post. Some of the skills you teach I already have, many I do not. I quote you "one is none, two is one and three is ready to go", the more training, the more skills I acquire makes me ready to go! So, thank you again for your videos!

Corporal, sir, just my meager attempt at advice: Stop paying attention to the details and just continue doing what you're doing. You'll never be able to please everybody and the people that still complain, despite your best efforts, aren't worth the attention.

Something about this build that really appeals to me. The functionality mainly - getting off the ground while staying warm & dry in a rainstorm and having the openness to enjoy the surroundings is killer.
As someone who served in the Canadian Army for 9 years, I respect all military veterans, whether they were corporals or colonels. I've known my fair share of both. Your videos are excellent. Ignore the idiots and do your thing.

I have watched your channel for years and years now and built replicas of your shelters as you have taught me from knots to build to food to eat while enjoying what I've built in the wilderness and obvious to enjoy the great outdoors for what it is.
