Yes to the storage locker video! I know it's probably super daunting so pls don't let the pressure of a video add to it if it's too much! Or you could also make it 2-3 eps instead of all in one. Honestly cube shelves is one of my favorite things. Entertainment center? Cube shelf. We have like, eleven binders of DVD's and CDs. We can display our art books and my kiddos have a place for their books. Toy storage you say? Cube shelf! Office organization and storage (mostly art supplies) CUBE SHELF! Clearly I agree. And thank you for this journey. I'm weird and I always like to see how other people organize their spaces. And I feel you guys on taking things slow. We've been in this house for almost a year and we just starters hanging things on the walls and making it feel homey. YEs to the storage unit!

Swapping out the knobs/handles on your previously existing furniture can help tie it in better!! I have a vintage wood desk + dresser and a modern white bed frame and I swapped their handles for cute, white textured ones and it really looks like it matches well!

Your vid came up in my recommendation. But I was so surprised to see those plant pictures you touched at the end of your bed. It’s the ones that are yarn with the brown wooden frames. I made those same ones in the 70’s for my mom and now they hang on my wall. Amazing that someone else still has those!
It looks great! Putting in that shelving unit really cleared up that part of the room. That wooden bowl is gorgeous! I'm in the middle of a bedroom makeover myself, and I'm actually planning on going to the West Sac IKEA tomorrow to pick up a 4 cube organizer + some baskets! They're so handy for making things look less cluttered.

I actually liked this bedroom makeover more than the typical “extreme makeover” type videos. It’s a little more motivational when it’s within a realistic reach (cause tf if I’m going out and spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on a new room).

Love the changes you made! It seems like everything is much more streamlined now, but still homey, so hopefully the space serves you better. I just bought an 8-cube organizer from Target as well! (I got the slightly cheaper "Room Essentials" one though, and it's white haha) I have it vertical instead of horizontal the way you have it, because the corner it's in is pretty narrow. We too have a mish-mash of furniture colors but I guess that's just life in your late 20s when you first move in with a significant other haha Now that I've written you an essay, have a great day haha
As someone who has very little makeup (1 mascara, 1 bb cream, sunblock, and 1 liquid lipstick) it boggles my mind to see how much other people have. I wish I knew how to use makeup but I frankly don't have that kind of budget. I think it's so cool to see how passionate people are about makeup but I don't think I could personally deal with having more than what I already have. Good for you for whittling down what you have and I hope that you're able to keep your room feeling fresh and awesome!

that’s actually what I did! I found some cute knobs at world market for my desk so instead of a bamboo they’re like a whiteish with a pop of color :)

powders are generally not as bad, but can still get bacteria and stuff so i'd just be weary of that, but its not liquid so nahhh haha
