Spot on! I worked at a place where I swear the managers used this video as a check list lol... and not in the good way lol 👍🏻

🤣🤣🤣🤣 makes both of us! What’s so sad is that it’s way too common. I get people reaching out to me allll the time about their toxic managers. I’m sure you just get the same dms and emails 🤦🏾‍♀️

@@makeda.andrews ya. I sure do. With any luck... the more videos we publish from channels just like yours, we’ll eventually get to everyone lol... maybe not everyone but we can try to put a dent in lol 👍🏻

My ex-boss of the customer support perfectly matches with these signs. His inconsistency and no visionary attitude made work environment unsafe. As a result, almost everyone in my team stepped away from there.

Oyyy! That is terrible. But not at all uncommon. Hopefully team members were able to find a better environment 😊

I have a good idea for a new video! Thumbs up this comment if you want it too:
    - What commitments do you have to take as a manager or deputy?
    - What events do you have to go too?
-How much overtime are you obliged to do?
    - When can you say "No" to your superior?
    - How do you stop your superior from forcing their management style on you?

These are some very specific questions! Interested to see if we get more people giving it a thumbs up! 😁

Everything you said is true, it's the reason I made a lateral move within my company from one department to another with no hesitation. when I was present with the opportunity I bounced and asked if it could be finalized immediately and I was told yes by the regional manager.

I'm trying to break that mentality in my group with giving input on the way we do our work. I just joined a few weeks ago
I'm really glad. I'm trying so hard to have a persistent drive and not let day to day overwhelm me. Thank you for consolidating that for me!
Just a question to all the deputy managers out there: Do you guys have to attend the staff get together like Christmas party etc? I hate that stuff even as a previous employee LOL! Someone let me know....I just get soo exhausted at the end of the day... I don't wanna goooo....lol

Not having clear metrics and ways to measure seems to be a real problem I see. Love the fight or flight example. Great video!

Seems like I'll watch every single video on this channel.
I'm a new manager and I really want to do well.
My personality doesn't allow that, so I'm basically fighting my brain by taking this role.

This is exactly my feeling. I have taken a role and I have suddenly shut down my team have missed all the deadlines and my team is really struggling and I have to hold my hands up.

Henry. Thanks for watching. I think the myth is that we are born leaders when the truth is - it takes work. So don’t worry! We all have to work very hard at this. You’ll do just fine as long as you’re committed to improvement 😉
Glad to have you here - part of the community! One of my NMA students felt the same as you and had turned some lemons into tasty lemonade. Definitely watch her journey for inspo here : ruclips.net/video/DSuAEM9A8Qw/видео.html
