I think the extra camera angles and shots are very under-appreciated, well done! Genuinely curious how much extra time it adds to your route with getting in and out of the vehicle to film?
Oh man, it easily doubles my time on a trail. However, I think the unique camera angles and shots make the videos so much better. Which ultimately makes it worthwhile setting them up. It’s a lot of work but I enjoy the process.
Washouts like what you were driving put me on high alert. What's to say the next several inches aren't going to crumble as you put weight on them? Nothing. Some of the very easy trails and roads I drive here locally change by rains, so it's always a question how stable the ground is.
You make a very valid point. I always take sections like these at a slower pace just to make sure it’s a solid base. Where are you from and what trails are you referring to? Maybe it’s something I’ll have to check out in the future.
Trails off-road is the best. Also for me, no print stripping. I’m thinking I’m just gonna take electric chainsaw and cut The only question is if it’s a lot is doable lol. They also make these panel guards that stick on I saw, but they have all these different graphics. I guess which I’m not a fan of.
There's a couple of guys in my club that use the white film car dealerships use when transporting cars for sale. I'm not sure where they get it, but it's just white plastic that peels off when they're done wheeling. That might be an option.
@@matthewb8229 Thanks Ill research that! Right now doing my own pre cut PPF install my self. An E chain saw and if I have to I will turn around and go to another trail or home. The nice thing about trails off-road app, they show you where the pinstriping areas are to pre plan. Also ceramic coating helps they say.
Beautiful trails, thanks for sharing
Absolutely! Thank you for watching and supporting the channel!

@@TrailExpeditioncouldn’t agree more! Well done and keep it up!
Thanks I appreciate it!
What cameras do you like to use? Do you need to color grade or use a LUT?
I just use my iPhone, DJI pocket 3, and a couple drones. I don’t color grade anything. I’m not that tech savvy 😆

@@TrailExpedition I'm clear out on the Westest of the west coast. North of Santa Barbara by about an hour.
Nice. Yeah I’ve yet to make it that far west. Want to get out there someday to do the Rubicon trail.

They do have some great stuff.

I feel like white hides the pinstripes well. Eventually I’ll probably get my truck wrapped. Right now I just deal with it.

The Bauer chainsaw from Harbor Freight is the one I use. Small, compact, battery powered and doesn’t break the bank.
