The Ja 2 actually has less padding and ankle support compared to the 1. They cut weight from the 1 to the 2 and that's one place the did it (though the 2 only ways a few ounces less so I don't think it was worth it).
Since Kyrie is no longer the top shotta in terms of sneaker sales with Nike (since they got rid of him for no reason), and Paul George’s contract expired, these give me PG vibes with the tech and price point. I only like the purple pairs, the rest are aight.
The ones with the scratch mark look ugly af. I told myself i wouldn’t be getting an a pair of Ja 2’s. But the ribbed ones completely changed my mind. They look 10x better.

The JA2's have got to be one of the most VERSATILE looking sneaker lines I can recall. Each colorway has a TRUE identity of its own. 💯
