      Kenny Morris you’re welcome! I created them short this way they are easier to go back and reference when needed. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I can try to elaborate more and help with anything you don’t fully understand . It’s an amazing machine, wishing you success 👍😊 Laurie

    Your 'Nox instructions have ALL been great.. however I'm still confused about the "great adio gap" on the 50 tone adjustments, not sure what this means and I have already been using custom settings for 5 tones. the 50 tone thing has me stumped. with two adjustments and what is the "gap" .. no sound in between ?

    • @RelicDirtyhands
      @RelicDirtyhands  4 года назад

      G. Fortin in 50 tones it’s split in two, iron and everything else. You can set the pitch for the iron section, the gap is the difference in sound from low to high.. you can adjust your iron to sound higher for less of a gap but it may be harder to distinguish the iron.. if you use a larger gap meaning a really low tone for iron, it’s much easier to tell it’s iron vs foil or other low non ferrous tones.

      @@RelicDirtyhands Thank you so much for the reply! I get it now :-) Gaps to me meant no sound.. but you're referring to it as the "difference" in tone pitch between the two tones. Awesome , I'm going out tomorrow (weekend at last!) and I'll try this. and again.. thank you Laurie ! :- )

      Craig Talley - Hardcore Metal Detecting thank you so much! Good visual aids really help to better explain. Some of the visual aids they used in the manual, had me confused and additional research had to be done. Take care Laurie

      I’m total audio so I like the way you explain things! Equinox has really good audio discrimination and iron audio!

    On mine I get tone pitch levels for verouse metals,but when I pass over any target its a fast double or triple beep rather than a single tone when i seep over it, so I end up having to dig everything, would this tutorial help with this problem? Ty

    • @RelicDirtyhands
      @RelicDirtyhands  3 года назад +1

      I usually get double or triple beeps on items close to the surface, have you noticed if items where closer to the surface? When it does double tap you can try lifting your coil a little higher, if the double tap turns into a single signal you know it’s a surface item. I can’t see tone pitch helping as it is intentional done, most detectors overload on items close the the surface but the equinox doesn’t. How many tones are you using?

      @@RelicDirtyhands Hi thanks for the reply, I just tested it and like you said it does the 2/3 rappid beeps up to 3 inches away from the target, im using stock settings at the moment as I have not long brought it, my other detector the "etrac" would kinda beep like that everytime you hit a coin you see regardless of depth which i think is whats confusing me, thanks again.

      @RelicDirtyhands  3 года назад +1

      @@riche4you1975 on the equinox it happens only on items closer to the surface. I’m glad we worked that out ☺️ Stock settings are perfect, I used them for a year before I started tweaking them. I often start my hunts using the default settings they are well balanced 👍
