  • Attempted to do W2 at #afan #mtb centre just north of Port Talbot in #southwales - lot of the Y Wal sections are closed so did a lot of forest road riding (not on vid) but managed to most of Whites Level and some short sections of Y Wal. Still, good fun - Whites Level is a lot of fun

Great vid. That tree down near the bottom of Windy Point could be nasty if a rider was hurtling at warp speed down there to get air off those three drops, I always ride those 3 drops with a bit of care. There was also a tree down on Omega descent which I rode into as although the larch has been felled, there are deciduous trees that have been left clinging precariously in churned up earth and detritus. MTBing is hazardous in more ways than one😂

Its been years since I've ridden those trails, I seem to ride more off piste than bike parks these days myself, but I was shocked at the trail conditions on your Energy vid, it looked proper ruff to how I remember it, but still looked super enjoyable.. which is what it's all about. 😎👍Great vids as always, so thanks for sharing 👍

Yeah - the boardwalk/northshore is in a pretty poor state on energy. I right more of the local off piste stuff around North Cardiff - straight from the house. I'm lucky I guess in that respect - to have so many good trails within cycling distance. Thanks for watching.

Was zigzag open or is it still closed? Did not look as wet as I thought it may be!

@@HateClimbs it was closed - well officially but I think @thedirtybikeroom got on to at least some of the final descent from the lodge.
