I recently had 7 bloodstones on my cast on Hera (2 from chaos and 2 from artemis legendary) with crush shot for the cast. I literally 1 shot hades phases, I had Hermes' quick reload which dropped the bloodstone drop time to 1.67 seconds. I destroyed Hades in like 50 seconds w/ phase transitions included lmao Edit: Oh forgot to add, had 50% cast damage from charon as well.
@@kony2023 Does exit wounds even help at that point lmao. Cuz I had it too for getting the Arty legendary and it didn't make much of a difference except Hades fight
Chiron used to be my favorite bow, but Hera became my favorite bow because of these kind of builds, if you're lucky enough to get the right boons you just one/two shoots some bosses, it's just so op.
Years later and this is still one of my favorite videos to rewatch over and over, your chat interactions in this are just so funny. The singing, Thai food excuse, milk money, surf shark vpn sponsor and just the gameplay events as the run goes on. Absolutely love this video
the funny thing about no commentary playthroughs is, they are alive and well. it is just called no commentary longplay and there is ton of them on youtube. they are just not getting pushed by the algorithm cause they have a lot less community interaction.

I had a build last week with heras bow and Ares boons for cast (legendary, epic size etc), combined with Artemis Duo boon (seek targets). It was really hilarious to watch.
One of the old Breath of The wild world records the guy does the same thing where he had his mic on but he didn’t speak until after the run was complete and he just started screaming. I love that type of shit it’s so funny
Secretely? Exit wounds goes great with Hera's aspect and lets you qualify for fully loaded with just one more boon (pressure points). More casts = more cast damage and more procs of exit wounds. This is a mostly obvious sinergy

Many reasons you can't play the game yourself: Can't afford the extra cash on the game if it costs money, physically disabled in such a way that you can't control the game, the game is too difficult for you to complete yourself, or you just prefer to watch i.e. someone watching an SO play a game over their shoulder.

Mirage shot does essentially double your cast, though the second only does 30% of the originals damage which is actually better than it having a set dmg

I dunno about aspects that load bloodstones into your weapon. Sure, you can get insane damage, but I think I prefer the versatility of hitting at range without the pressure of landing the very next shot. Yes, I know Beowulf is super strong for speedrun and it's a loading weapon.

So in regards to the question asked at 13:20 why anyone would watch commentary-less gameplay not everyone is good enough to play all games. Maybe they just want the experience of seeing the game without someone rambling over the story or what have you. I get that as a speedrunner you might forget you are in the upper echelon of gamers but I'd wager even you have your weaknesses. I can beat Sekiro and Celeste without much difficulty but you put me in front of an RTS like Starcraft and I can't fucking do it. It's just not in my skillset.

Does attack boon or attack damage buff do anything fro Hera? Or just pure cast damage?

Any +cast% over 33% is worth more than +1 to casting stones
Each cast is +100+CB% dmg and every cast bonus is CB(CC) where CB is the bonus and CC is the count. So really it depends on how much you have of each
