Thank you both for the videos. I am currently in CDL School and then I am off to Werner myself. Your videos have been very helpful in my decision making process as well.
We are so happy to hear that our videos have been helpful!! Congratulations and all the best wishes for a successful new career!!!
Loving the content and personality. Keep them coming. Be safe.
Thanks so much!! We will!!
Thank you for not holding back. This is so helpful to get a non jaded opinion. No supertrucker.
Thanks Jim! We are happy to share our honest opinion on things!
Back in the nineties when I was on the road they had good home cooking and the truck stop
Yes! We were very disappointed with so many gone and replaced with fast food. 😔
About recycling: You can separate your plastic and aluminum yourself and drop them off at Walmart or wherever you shop if you can't find them at rest areas. Also, there are ALWAYS homeless or enterprising individuals hanging around truck stops in rougher areas/bigger cities. I have walked right over to one of these people digging through trash cans (sometimes even at the fuel islands!) and handed them a full bag of crushed cans and water bottles. Worth nothing to me, really, because I can't go to a redemption center, but worth a dollar or two to them. Everyone wins.
Yes!!! Good ideas!! Though it should be more common at rest areas. Different places very different access. When we were RVing we’d sometimes carry recycle for weeks until we found places. But in the truck we don’t have the room to do that. :-(((
It's a great thing to talk about the negatives, how about the positives?
Look and ye shall find. :-)))
Enjoy!

Just found out about Naf Naf Grill in 11 states. I read that Loves will have this restaurant, slowly opening in select locations. I do know one in Greenup IL truck stop. Fab food apparently. None here locally ::::sad face:::::
Haven’t heard of them. Look forward to seeing what they are about. Thanks for the heads up!!
What is starting pay
Thanks for watching our videos! Kevin started OTR at 41cpm with a guaranteed $1,000 minimum per week for the first 12 weeks.
Did Kevin have any exercises before? I'm looking into this company
And I can I use Kevin when I fill out application so that way he gets I'll find her feet for new driver
@@frodo3984 What do you mean by exercises? Do you mean experience? If so the answer is no. He got his CDL and then started with Werner.
@@frodo3984 That would be awesome. Thank you! I’ll get you his employee number. Hang on…
The Wernerbago! Ha! After hearing this I would never want to be a trucker. You’ve provided you’d information. The actual driving part would be ok, but rest- no.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news to all of you newbies but the industry is not getting better it is getting worse. The things that they addressed in this video have gotten worse over the last 15 years. And there are a combination of reasons from poorly trained and unskilled new drivers all the way to contradictions between state and federal government in regards to commercial regulations
That’s certainly what we’ve heard from a number of seasoned drivers. But even with that, it’s still a lot better than many other options. Especially with such a short training period.
