I get people’s frustration and why they protest, but to loot and ravage someone’s business and stores is completely WRONG just like the officers who have killed any unarmed human being. Today I woke up thanks to god and as I was going to the grocery store I noticed the man that lives in his car by my house had 3 windows completely broken, he bothers no one and just seeing him cleaning up his car I wanted to cry but most of all just hurt those people who were responsible. Imade it to the grocery store, I turn back to go talk to him and ask what had happened and most of all how can I help him out. We talked, I bought him some grocery’s went home got my portable generator and shop vac and helped him clean up the glass. Now I’m getting him some money for laundry and I told him he can come by my house so he can shower and clean up, working on getting him a job with my in-laws at a nursery as I type this. All this makes me sad, I just don’t understand people nowadays. Well I better get back at helping Luis out he’s homeless and 26 years old from Oaxaca.

Well a business often effect dozens or more people, from a need to make a living to just a place to get "important" things. Though granted a single person can be worth more depending on what they do, doctor, engineer, or just being a very skilled person in a blue collar profession. Granted there's a lot more to factor in for this type of thing, than just this stuff.

The rioters and looters do not care about small business. People are Not insured for "civil unrest." These owners may loose their entire businesses which some have worked 10 to 30 years to build them. Send the looters and rioters to prison.

After a day of peaceful protesting by thousands, at
9:00 pm sharp fireworks went off downtown, and the mood turned ugly. The few hundred that remained started breaking windows and setting fires, then the looting started. It's 1:15 am the national guard got here an hour ago and they're the crowds are dispersing.
This was like no protest or riot I've ever seen.
