4:34 there was a Dexter’s Lab game on the PS1 that was kinda like that called Mandark’s Lab. The lab in that game was mostly just a small hub world to access the levels, but you did get to roam around in 3D
Nintendo recently posted in their community tab that it’s the GBA’s 20th anniversary, so a way for me to celebrate that is to watch a review of a GBA game.
13:22 The fact that those “silver robots” are the strongest is actually a pretty cool reference, considering they’re based off of UltraRobot-2000/OmniBot from the episode “UltraJerk 2000” by design. Yet another character they could’ve used as a boss…
for Dexter's Laboratory is NOT Only one of the Best Cartoon Network Classics along with The Powerpuff Girls but it was the Funniest Cartoon Network Show
My favorite episodes Decode of Horror, Dexter vs. Santa Claus, Dexter's Rude Removal, Coping with an Aptitude, DeeDee and the Man, the Laughing, and Sister Mom.
There's actually a setting in the options for changing the D-Pad movement from tilted at an angle to proper horizontal/vertical movement. Tho I think if you start a game with it set to the base controls, you're stuck with that for that save file unless you start a new game, so a good idea to check the options before jumping into a new game. Also, man, this game's music is amazing, especially the "Lab of the Lost" section. (At least that's what I often see that section called)
Wait you were actually able to beat it? All these years I thought it was unbeatable because I remember getting stuck as a kid and seeing people on forums saying the final level was unfinished. Now I wonder if either Bam made a 2.0 release of the game after the initial batch of cartridges like Pokemon did for Firered and Leafgreen for example or if it was just a case of me simply not knowing what to do. Edit: 15:00 Okay that explains it. I kinda figured that was probably the case and I'm glad you brought it up.
Impressive starting line of games you began with on the gba 🙂 of all the ones you mentioned i played Spider-Man the movie “I even have the 2 in one combo pack which comes with both spider-man 1 and 2” this is an interesting game, I never came upon many Cartoon Network games that were at least decent “nick and Disney especially have a larger number of their games being well made and received”
8:00 A licensed GBA game with a *save battery*?! How unthinkable!!! But seriously, the Cartoon Network GBA games I had, those being Speedway and Block Party, used a password system instead... And me as a child rarely ever wrote down those passwords.
Dexter's Lab was the first "Cartoon Cartoon," not the first cartoon the network made. That actually belongs to The Moxy Show which not many people remember! I realize now that my wording at the beginning kinda implies Dexter was the first lol, oops!
I wonder if DeeDee would be allowed to fly today, or if paranoid network executives would worry about "offending" anyone by having a prominent female character who was that stupid.
Dexter’s Laboratory was great and one of the most important Cartoons ever not just for Cartoon Network.

While not making GBA games playable on Switch 🤣! Though, I can't pretend to care. The newest Nintendo system I own is a Wii
R.I.P. Dexter 1996-2001
He has truly fallen.

In the beginning: that’s where you belong Donny 🤣 but happy Friday everyone!! 💙💖
Sorry this is off-topic but I've seen you around here for a while & I just wanted to say, your profile pic is so cute! Did you draw it yourself?
@@rubysu9265 yeah I did it about 8 months ago thx!! 💙💖
“Link never knows when to shut up” is a quote I never thought I’d ever hear someone say.
5:52: That IS oddly coloured, but I think that's a fuse, for a fuse box, not a battery.
Have you ever considered talking about Mandark's Lab?
This was one of my very first gameboy games and one of my first games in general god i feel old
"Uh Oh , Back to the lab again"
"Imagine rotating your GBA 45 degrees clockwise to play"
or, y'know, say it controls like Q*Bert
just a funny coincidence I want to point out
I think this game deserves a remaster!
Dexter, Edd Edd n' Eddy and the Powerpuff Girls were my favorite shows as a kid, so this is neat.
How I missed Game Boy Advance.
Congratulations on 20K subs!
Thank you so much 😀
Something feels different, I like it
4:35 to 4:42
But what about that one 3D game called "Mandark's Lab"? I think that game kinda had that concept, but not fully expanded upon.
17:17 - Shadow Streak, 2020 moment
2020 hasn't ended yet, it's still going
@@ShadowStreak oh wow

When I was little I thought dexter and PPG shared the same universe

In Dexters Laboratory Is the smartest boy you ever seen
There is a Dexter’s Laboratory PlayStation video game if I can recall.
Good video, I love learning about these old games from you.
Glad you enjoyed!
@@ShadowStreak So what's the next game?
@@LeviChurch Not completely certain yet, but most likely a Spongebob game.
Yah selling to game stop was such a total rip. Also glad you had a bit of fun this time. Also can't wait for the next video
Dee Dee! Get out of my GBA game!
Well this sure is one very nice Shadow Streak video.
Also hope y'all have a great day.
My first Spyro game was the GBA title and my first Crash game was Wrath of Cortex.
I wasn't even able enter the second area without the enemies beating me the second I would enter
The soundtrack for this game is pretty good. It's a shame you don't use your avatar. I kinda liked it.
Awesome vid man, commenting for the algorithm.
Much appreciated!
I’ve been waiting for this good review

congrats on 20K subs shadow!
Thanks!
The GBA was also my first game system. Pokemon ruby and sapphire kicked ass.
ha Donnie in the trashcan that made me laugh
I like to see you review spyro.
What's this!? Shadow Streak Is a doing something "Dexter" related?! :D
Aw, come on! Shadow Streak wants to expand. He's still doing things Cartoon Network related.
@@vestonbruno2795 I know but I'm still It's not PPG Related (for now anyway) and wanna see something new now and then y'know.
@@nebuchadnezzar8683 Well, patience is a virtue.
@@vestonbruno2795 Again, I'm not complaining.
Wish I could've had one of the Ed Edd n' Eddy games for my GameBoy Advance.
Actually the Moxy show is the first Cartoon Network show. Also congrats on 🎉20k
Ngl, if you traded in Spyro Enter the Dragonfly, you owe GS money lol
The laser gate hit box probably is a square
Omg I used to play this as a kid!

Is it weird that I think of Sonic Labyrinth when seeing this game, it does thankfully look more then Labyrinth at least.
Good video as always, I thought 2 stupid dogs was the first orginal show by cartoon network or was it before cartoon network time?

@@ShadowStreak That makes sense, I'm more familiar with the cartoons cartoons shows but I did remember there were a few before Dexter first aired
good video shadow!
Thank you, glad you liked it!
2:33 Agreed, i regret getting rid of all of PS2 and PS1 games way back when i was younger, idk why i thought that was a good idea
This was a fun show
I wonder if DeeDee would be allowed to fly today, or if paranoid network executives would worry about "offending" anyone by having a prominent female character who was that stupid.
There’s nothing offensive about her though 🤷♀️
If she was someone of color...
Man, what a DEEDEEous game!
Better do a review on the ppg toys
GBA is a handheld
We know
@@gracekim1998 Really?
What's up with the purple?
It’s a new look
So what’s next the awful PPG fighting game or Mandark’s Lab?
You probably played Wario Land 3 most
Hi
Who else watched this video bc of the title? lol
It maybe amazing, (but I think it's *filler!)* Not sure about this one chief.
