I think the reason why #3 is a little more "pulled back" is because of Lisa's image as an idol. Even at that level, the choreo was a little too risque for an idol but she's out there pushing boundaries and showing a taste of what more she can do (but at the same time, holding back quite a bit). I totally agree that she could have put in a lot more. She CAN but she can't (at least for now).
Lili Film is a way for Lisa to show a little bit more of what she isn't able to do given BlackPink's repertoire and musical niche. The other members of BlackPink are great dancers in their own right but Lisa is on a whole different level.

And I don't mean to say this as a bashing but the truth for those who think Lisa doesn't deserve" main dancer " . Some ppl literally make other members the deserved main dancer for exaggerating moves. So there I said how Lisa and other members are different dancers.

Wholeheartedly concur, as an idol, she can't be too racy. YG wouldn't agree to it. These short dancing clips are to showcase what she can do, beyond the regular idol choreographies. Also when they have to sing while dancing for 1-2 hours, the choreography cannot be too energy consuming.

In Blackpink she dances always under her level, which isnt bad since she has to perform and also sing at the same time but she cant express her creativity and full potential thus she makes these videos to express herself and yes the girl in the 4th is the choreographer off all the these choreos
Thank you so much for this! Lilifilm #3 was actually Lisa's first time attempting a heel choreography as well as her choreographer's (cheshir the girl who appeared in lilifilm #4) first time making choreo for a sexy and seductive type of song. I loved the energy of this video T^T

Lisa's strongest point is that she makes the hardest and sharpest choreographies fluid and easy. She is one of the most versatile dancers Kpop has ever had. Antis always say that she only dances to hip hop and bp choreography are easy but it's the professionals that always praise her for her lines,her dynamics and her presence.
I think that's the thing that's overlooked about her a lot. She certainly has this style and flair to her dances that she owns and executes well. A signature of sorts. People can compare her to every other Kpop dancer out there but I feel like she's entirely on a league of her own.
They do not hyper focus on her actual dancing proficiency.
The level of kpop idols are low bar compared to her actual level.
And if you see these and see the way Blackpink perform you understand that she's actually holding back a little so that the as the other 3 (Jennie, Chaeng and Jisoo) steps up their level higher than usual kpop idols they meet in the middle and be all in the higher level which is what Blackpink standard is.
You have to understand fully that Lisa has been dancing and performing on stage since 4 to 5 years old. And she's 23 years old now.
Imagine how drilled and continues her dancing skills were and how mastered she is in performing a dance.
honestly her presence,style,and charisma is unmatched. She does more than just learn technique and dance she embodies movement and really makes it her own.
I agree about the 3rd film. The movements were executed well but something wasn't quite hitting the way she usually does when she dances. Either way she's amazing and thank you for reacting and sharing!

The good thing about Lisa she's not exaggerating every facial expressions, moves, etc. It's really precise, detailed, fluid, sharp and deliberate.

that other girl in the 4th film is Cheshir Ha, she is the choreographer of all dances from #1 to 4.
Im actually kinda sad. she moved out of Korea because she had a job opurtunity in Germany (i think?), so, im happy for her, but sad that she might not work with Lisa again, because her choreos are amazing, and i love seeing Lisa dancing them.

If I’m not mistaken she and Bambam from got7 were in the same hip hop dance crew in Thailand as kids before both of them became trainees in Korea! Pretty dope but also why she might seem more comfortable in a hip hop vibe/ style.
